Located right inside the Village Lodge, our two bedroom condo has the best location in town. Others advertise a village location but in reality they are across the street and several blocks away. Not us. Our immaculately clean condo is just steps away from dozens of restaurants, bistros, and shops. But best of all, right downstairs you can catch the Gondola to the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. No more lugging your skis, boards and boots into your car, hunting for parking at the resort, and trudging for a mile to the ski lifts. You will just park your vehicle in the underground parking garage, and never use it the rest of your stay! Our interior Village view has a lot of benefits, but the best part is you are off the road, so you won't hear snow removal vehicles or buses going by, like you would if you were on the street side. LUXURIOUS INTERIOR \*\*\*Huge 68 inch 4k HD TV w/Netflix & Direct TV and full motion mounting to watch from any angle in the kitchen or living room \*\*\*Dedicated high speed modem/router in the unit and NOT shared with everyone else in The Village (all other units share a painfully slow common connection). \*\*\*Netflix \*\*\*Updated kitchen appliances and utensils, including dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, microwave, etc. \*\*\*Granite countertops \*\*\*Gas fireplace \*\*\*Private terrace \*\*\*Additional 40-inch TVs in bedrooms \*\*\*Extended living area (most one-bedrooms in the Village are 100 square feet smaller) \*\*\*Ski storage locker AMENITIES You are in the Village now, so expect to enjoy yourself! You are steps away from the Village heated outdoor pool and two outdoor jacuzzis (yes, even when it's snowing they are nice and warm). There is also another jacuzzi spa in our building, just an elevator ride away. \*\*\*Use the gym located in our building for cardio or weights with our new Peloton bikes ( and treadmill, elliptical, bicycle, weights, etc.). \*\*\*Bring the kids down to the Village promenade to play in the snow, enjoy the various games around the village, roast marshmallows around the firepits, or watch the Saturday parade with Mammoth Host "Woolly." \*\*\*Catch the daytime free shuttle or the evening free trolley to get anywhere in Mammoth. \*\*\*Enjoy the secure, heated underground garage to park your car and avoid shoveling it out after a big storm! CONVENIENCE Check in is super easy. No need to find a rental company office late at night to collect the keys--there is a lockbox right outside our front door. Lockbox combination, wifi passwords and a welcome email with recommendations will be emailed to you one week before arrival. Check out is a breeze, just leave your keys and parking permit on the counter before you go. HOUSE RULES Heated Pool is open from10am-10pm. Pet Fee is $125/night. Condo was well furnished, very clean, and comfortable for our family of 5\. Master bed mattress was a bit lumpy, and rooms were warm without AC in the August heat. The ease and convenience from booking to departure was the best experience I ever had. The unit we stayed at was wonderful with all the amenities possible. Very comfortable and pleasant experience. I like to cook so not the kitchen for me as far as supplies go but it’s very doable.Good parking.Nice pool. Oh and we saw a bear strolling through the village late at night. We watched from the balcony. That was awesome!Very good coffee shop walking distance. Everything was great except the water temp didn’t get hot enough in shower. Also, some parishables were ruined in fridge. Didn’t realize the dial was set to coldest temp. Turned it down to 7 from 9 and still too cold. My eggs, salad supplies, and some other items froze. The condo is beautiful and spacious with nice amenities. This would be an excellent place to stay in the winter months. There is no A/C, but plenty of fans (which we knew). It was warm two of the three days we were there in October. and it was a little uncomfortable to sleep which was totally a 'me' problem (52 yo female) and not the fault of the owner at all. The 3rd night was chillier and was a perfect temp for sleeping.
