This spacious pet-friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Townhouse is located in the ideal spot for your kid-friendly family! Just a short walk to Mammoth Creek park, you can fish the creek, use the playground, or picnic at the tables or large grassy area. Just a short walk across the street and you are at Vons, shops, restaurants, the movie theatre and the Rock n Bowl bowling alley! The Chateau Sierra complex also offers a large outdoor swimming pool, indoor hot tub and sauna. Everything you need to keep your little ones entertained.

This split level home has a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the upper level with adjacent large deck. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked just like home, with a private gas grill on the deck so you can grill up your favorites. Relax on the large comfortable sectional and enjoy the pellet stove, while watching your favorite movies on the 55" Smart TV. A separate dining area offers seating for 6. The living area is also equipped with a home office desk so you can work remotely if you must! A private washer and dryer makes laundry a breeze. The master bedroom upstairs features a California King bed and full bathroom adjacent. The second bedroom located downstairs has a King bed with en-suite bathroom and bonus vanity area. While the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a Queen on the bottom and a Twin on the top, making it the perfect room for the kids. Access to the 1 car garage from the entry way makes snowy days even more hassle free.

This condo sleeps 7 people, there is an additional air mattress provided for a maximum of 8. The home has a 1-car garage as well as outdoor parking for 2 vehicles. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are 3 stairs to this unit, two levels inside, no smoking is permitted, and the home is pet-friendly (one dog allowed with additional pets on approval only). Our calendar is updated in real time.

Amazing Location!

This was the perfect location for our spring ski trip. Conveniently located right next to Vons, the bowling alley, and Mammoth Tavern (our favorite restaurant in town) and plenty of other dining options. The shuttle is right next to it so we did not need a car the entire trip!

Located right next to the pool and Jacuzzi! Also really close to the bus stop which can take you to the ski resort. Loved that the 2 master bedrooms were on different floors too! We all felt like we had our own quarters.

Family and Dog Ready ... Slopes a bus ride away

The condo was a great fit for our family of 4 teens and dog for opening weekend. It was a half block away from a Red Line stop so easy access to the mountain. It was an affordable place to include a dog and have the number of beds and baths we needed for our big crew. Nice to have a garage but it was too skinny for our suv ... it was a fantastic place to keep the gear though. A couple of notes for the management: The blanket and comforter were missing from the master bedroom (we traveled with extra blankets so we were ok). Maybe throw a stronger scrubber or steel wool under the kitchen sink since the pans were difficult to clean with what was provided.

Great layout and location

We were very comfortable with the layout of this place. Nightly dinner and card games at the table. Relaxing after skiing on the big couch. One bedroom upstairs by the common area and two bedrooms downstairs. We made all our dinners there and had what we needed. I’d recommend they get a larger pasta pot. As 1 box isn’t enough for our crew but with 2 boxes of rigatoni, I was pushing pasta into the water at the very top of the largest pot. Everything was easy to use and figure out. We easily walked to the shuttle each morning for skiing.

Clean, good location, but needs updating

Positives: very clean, great location (walking distance to restaurants and a short shuttle ride or a car ride to the lodge), comfortable living room & dining area, spacious. Kitchen is pretty well-stocked although you have to look around a bit. Had everything we needed for all our cooking and baking except the measuring spoons which is not a big deal. Negative: The bunkbed is terrible…. Very uncomfortable and very rickety and wiggly. If one person just barely moves in the bed the whole thing shakes. The two of us that were sleeping in the bunkbeds gave up after two nights and then the third night slept on the couch in the living room. The other two beds were so-so as far as comfort. The bathrooms definitely need updating and the the floorboards upstairs were creaky so you could hear walking around from downstairs If the upstairs guest walked around in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or get a drink of water for example. I thought it was very overpriced when we stayed the week before Christmas for what we got. Overall though we had a pleasant experience minus the sleeping which is pretty crucial when hitting the slopes three days in a row.

We were short on towels and trash bags… sent an email and both were delivered within hours… only two complaints…. Shower floor was dirty needs a good cleaning… and we had to buy batteries for the tv remote. With that said it was an amazing trip and a great place to stay.

Our family, six adults, stayed in this pet-friendly home in a quiet complex for a week. The location is great, the garage & washer/dryer useful, the layout perfect, and it gets good natural light. We tend to travel with our own stockpot & skillets - glad we did - and the kitchen only had the basics for 6, so we had to wash dishes between meals...definitely not a deal-breaker, of course. Thank you!

Perfect spot!

Our fam of 4 came here for 4 nights with another couple and 2 dogs. The location was awesome…lots to walk to and still close to the mountain. It was quiet and clean and we have marked it as one of our new favorite spots when visiting Mammoth. Will be back!

Fabulous VRBO

We stayed at Chateau Sierra, a fabulous location within walking distance of restaurants and Vons. The property is just as pictured on the listing.: very clean, comfortable and spacious with all the needed amenities. It’s also very quiet but we stayed the week before ski season opened. We’d definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it.

Excellent Stay

The house was exactly as described, it was well stocked, clean and had everything we needed except for a full length mirror, we made do with the bathroom mirrors. Beds/pillows/linens were comfortable. Nestled in a quite neighborhood, walking distance to coffee, restaurants and shops, everything else was less than a 5 minute drive. It was a perfect stay for our needs - excellent wifi and cell coverage for working remotely, 45 minutes from Yosemite and breath taking views of Mammoth. I would come back again!

Comfortable convenient stay

When we arrived there were a few issues with carpet stains and stair treads that needed to be repaired. The property manager was communicative and responsive. Overall, the place is fine, but could use some investment... creaky floors, creaky bunk bed (it needs to be attached to the wall), broken stair treads and bathrooms that need a remodel. All said, we would stay there again.

Great Family Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay in Mammoth! The condo was very comfortable for our group of six. It was nicely furnished and made for a cozy little get away! We really liked the location, and loved how we were able to walk to Vons, The Stove, Mammoth Creek Park, and Distant Brewery. I would definitely recommend! Our only complaint would be that we thought it was two and half baths, but the half bath was more of a vanity area. Not a big deal though! Thanks for a great stay!!
