Kitchen was stocked with everything you need including coffee, nice living room to hangout, and has a balcony. Shared pool/jacuzzi area was closed for maintenance but not a problem for us. This property is an 8-10 minute walk to the Village (gondola, restaurants, bars, etc.) so it was great for our group as we had people heading to the mountain at different times. There are incredible hikes we can do (Mammoth Crest, Chocolate Lakes loop), but also to get acclimatized to the altitude through all sorts of geological wonders within driving and short hiking range such as Panum Crater, the Obsidian Dome, Convict Lake loop and Hot Creek Geological Site, and the open hot springs like Hilltop in the middle of a former super-volcano. And apres all that we walk to the village to indulge. Next year we will hike or paddle to the Crowley columns! ##### John K. Once I had the correct way to reach the management (text message) they were very helpful and took care of situations that came up, promptly. Pellet stove didn’t work most of the time but management sent someone to check it right away. Kitchen is very small but functioned for what we needed it for. The only negative comment I have is that overhead footsteps from main living area are heard very easily in downstairs bedrooms. Loft bedroom is not enclosed so noise travels.
