Summary: This beautifully remodeled 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo is spacious and in the perfect location for accessing year-round activities. The Space: Shops, restaurants, and hiking and biking trails are within walking distance. Vons Market, theaters and sporting goods stores are also a short walk. Snowcreek Golf Course is a quick 4-minute drive. Skiers and snowboarders will love and utilize the nearby shuttle stop. The free green line shuttle travels to the Eagle Lodge and the Village; the Red Line travels to the Main Lodge. Hang your coats and winter gear on the mudroom wall. Enter into a cozy living room with ample seating circling a 37" flat screen Smart TV, DVD player, and wood burning fireplace (firewood provided), telephone (for local or toll-free calls only), and high-speed internet offered for your entertainment. The new couch also functions as a Queen sofa sleeper with new memory foam mattress for 1-2 . The beautiful granite hearth is perfect for warming up on a chilly night or after a day of skiing and snowboarding. This fully equipped cook’s kitchen is equipped with a toaster oven, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker (pods not provided), blender, pots/pans and more. There is a built-in breakfast bar for 3 and a dining table for 6. The master bedroom is furnished with a contemporary Queen bed and TV. Near the front of the home is an alcove with a bunkbed built into the wall. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub for guests to share. Store your skis and boards in secure closet adjacent to the front door. There are 2 outdoor parking spots with permits. The community sauna, hot tub, rec room, and laundry facilities are available year round. The recreation room has a ping pong table, pool table, and video games. The communal pool, tennis court, picnic area, and BBQ stations are only available during the summer. THINGS TO NOTE: \- Horizons 4 is not a pet friendly complex. \- The management of Horizons 4 complex has decided to close the gate and walkways during winter from the back to the pool area. The reason for this is due to the heavy snowfall in the area, which has resulted in snow banks as tall as 15 feet and a narrow walkway. The snow is very heavy and wet, which poses a risk of collapsing. In the foreseeable future please access the hot tub and club house from the gate facing Azimuth Road. \*\*We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at your own risk. Enough space for all of us, had all the utensils, towels, etc. The only thing I would recommend is to remove the microwave that is not working. There are two in the apartment, but one is not working, just taking space. The other thing, the drain in the shower was plugged before we use the bathroom, so when we used it, the water stayed and drained very slowly. It would be good to check it in advanced.Overall the stay was very pleasant, the communication with the host was great, very responsive and kind. I would definitely stay again. ##### Monica T. Good: nice location near restaurants and shops off of Old Mammoth Road; cozy space, useful ski and boot storage nook in hallway, near ski shuttle. Bad: Abominable communication and check-in. The instructions are unintelligible, giving an access code which is actually for a lockbox at an office located blocks away in a shopping center (but no address given for the office!). I managed to arrive at the office anyway, and the lockbox was empty, no key. The way to get into the condo is by an access code on a key pad on the door, but they don't give you the freakin access code. It was the perfect little place for my best friend and two kids. They even loved the heater in the bathroom, lol. My kids have been asking to go back for another trip. However they should have notified me that there was construction going on. Both of the units adjacent to mine had flooring repairs going on and the roof was being done while I was there. That being said, the property itself is really nice. This is the second time I have stayed there (not in the same units). Needs more propane barbeques on the property. The kids loved having the bunk beds (my only comment here is that the top bunk should have some sort of guard, for little kids and even adults, it would be easy to fall off once asleep). Internet was reliable, the TV and streaming services actually works well (a few places we have stayed at the tvs did not work at all).. Another plus were that the non stick pans were not scratched! it was a great stay for us and we would definitely put this down as a place for a repeat visit should we come back to mammoth again ourselves. ##### Long F. The pool table in the game room provided a fun evening - bring quarters! Unit was nicely outfitted and had everything we needed - decent TV and sound bar, lots of dishes, utensils, etc. Only disappointment was the hot tub wasn't working but not the owner's fault. ##### Bruce W. It is a nice small apartment, and it was perfect for our family of 4\. It is on the ground floor ( no need to carry your ski in the stairs). It was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the Wifi worked perfectly. It is very well located on the green line, 5 minutes drive to Eagle Lodge.
