This is a standard pet friendly 2 bedroom/loft/2.5 bath condominium with private wireless internet. Unit Amenities: The condo has a full size kitchen and separate dining area that leads out to your very own private deck. The deck is stacked with dry, seasoned firewood for your use in the wood stove. The full size kitchen has all the basic appliances and equipment for your comfort and convenience. The living room has a 3 disc CD stereo, a New Flat Screen TV, and a DVD player with free wifi and cable and some movie channels (check channel 40 for all listings). Bed Arrangements: The master bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed, a New Flat Screen TV, and a private bathroom and shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a small New Flatscreen TV and a VHS player. The loft has a queen size bed, 2 twin beds, a set of bunk beds, and a bathroom with a shower. Downstairs there is a full size bathroom with a tub, shower, and a separate vanity area. Common Area Amenities: In the recreation room there is coin operated laundry machines, a pool table, a ping pong table, video games, a soda machine, and a small reading area. Beds were comfortable and the layout was great for us. Nice having 2 master suites downstairs, and a place for kids in the loft. The only negative for me, is the unit doesn't get much light because it's in a gully. Discovery 4 is a great location for getting to the lakes and the Village. Absolutely loved being in Mammoth for the 4th of July! The Village puts on a fireworks show on the 3rd of July, and the parade down Main Street on the 4th is fun as well. ##### mary m. There's no folder explaining the usage of items within the unit. Almost everything was unplugged so had be reset. The toaster, coffee maker, and blow dryer need replacing. Also, the WIFI username/password were not operational and upon another phone call, with the same rude person, we were told that was not an emergency and had to wait for a tech to come out. It in fact was somewhat of an emergency because we needed WIFI for work school. We figured out WIFI based on a torn piece of paper left in kitchen by other tenants and it was the info for the unit next door. This is our first time staying here and it was very impressive! Stayed at many places and this tops one of the best place. It was very spacious, cozy, and CLEAN. It was perfect for my 2 boys along with their 3 cousins. I did overlook the pet ok! My son is allergic to dogs and it seemed like the place still had some dog dander along with pet hair. He had to take some allergy medicine. Other then that, we love the place and area was perfect. It’ll It was snowing and there were hills where they were sledding. They all had a blast. ##### Joyce E. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was more than I expected and was stoked to find. Two bedrooms plus a loft allowed all my guests to relax comfortably. The rental had a full kitchen with brand new appliances. And, the fact that this rental was dog friendly was an extreme plus for me as I had my two dogs with me. The rental is very close to the slopes making it an ideal stay for snow-boarders and skiers. Only "con" is the steep road to the rental... In the event of snowfall, you must have a vehicle with 4x4 (which we did) or bring chains. Clean and comfortable overall. The kids enjoyed the Netflix subscription. Our only warning is that if it snows, it can be very difficult to get up the steep driveway — even with chains on. I think that should be added to the overall description.
