This condo is wonderfully located less than half a mile from the Village at Mammoth, where you can hop on the Village Gondola for a scenic ride up Mammoth Mountain to access 161 trails and eight terrain parks for epic skiing and snowboarding in winter and beautiful summer hiking. In the Village, you can also grab a burger and a beer at Burgers Restaurant, catch a ballgame at Toomey's, or enjoy the mountain scenery at Mammoth Brewing. If you're vacationing in fall, you can catch the colors on display while trout fishing at nearby Lake Mary (four miles south) or teeing off at the Sierra Star Golf Course (one mile south). It had enough space for my me, my wife wife, and our 1 year old son. I also liked that the village was a short walk. The doorknob to the front door broke at one point, but we called and they had it fixed fairly quickly. My only gripe was that there wasn’t a snow shovel and the signage in the place explicitly states they don’t have one for use.
