We enjoyed the cabin's location (riding the ferry to and from Mammoth Caves was a highlight for our kids, age 11 and 8). The cabin's host Frank and dog Cody welcomed us to the property and provided us discs to practice disc golf during our stay. The kids loved practicing near the cabin and playing in the cabin loft. During our trip, we enjoyed cave tours at Mammoth, ziplining and horseback riding at Adventures of Mammoth Cave, lunch at 5 Broke Girls, and a trip to Dinosaur World for our youngest. My only reason for giving this cabin 4 stars on neighborhood is because of you are traveling to or from the cave park you must take a ferry across the river. The owners had no way of knowing we were traveling with a trailer so I cannot find any fault with them. The cabin was perfect for us and even has a frisby golf course attached I don’t play but it made for a great area for a morning run. Nice cabin, everything worked and beds were comfy. It is very close to blue holler so that made for an easy ride back after a long day on the trails. I would certainly stay here again. ##### James H. Mold and stains in the shower. Kitchen utensils dirty. Not unexpectedly, there were insects to be dealt with. This wasn't a problem as the location of the home was in the woods. With a few updates and better cleaning I would stay there again. Good location, Owner was friendly and flexible with some arrival issues we had. ##### Tim H. The property manager was kind and hospitable, the cabin was beautiful and comfortable, and their dog, Cody, was the perfect welcoming committee!
