"Fantastic Hotel. Fantastic Location"
Booked a one week break with my wife. Likuliku is quite simply a stunning hotel in a stunning location overlooking the Mamanuca islands just off the west coast of Fiji. The hotel offers standard, luxury and over water Bures (Bungalows). We booked a luxury Bure which comes with its own plunge pool and direct beach access. The photo's on the hotels web site does not do the location justice which is picture perfect. Whilst Likuliku is not the only hotel on Malolo Island, it is situated on its own beach and there is no road access so it is extremely private. Arrival is by Boat, seaplane or helicopter and we opted for seaplane on the way in and helicopter on the way out. It is well worth spending the extra as it avoid the transfer and hassle of making your way from the airport to the local port and gets you to the resort 2 hours faster. Food was excellent, staff are first class and water sports efficiently arranged by the local activities staff. We really could not fault this hotel and rate it as one of the best we have ever stayed at for a quite and relaxing break.

"Amazing beach view from the villas."
Highly recommend staying here. However, make sure you plan how to reach the island if making international connections. Ferry service is limited and helicopters rides are cool, but expensive.

"Super Friendly Staff, wonderful in every way."
We were only there for 3 days but members of the staff made the effort to remember our names and Villa number. How can you beat that type of friendliness. We were super impressed. The island and room was perfect.

Stayed for 5 nights in late October and have nothing but praise for the staff and the facility. We stayed in one of the 2-bedroom lagoon villas on Thompson Island which, I understand, are all privately owned. These villas had their own pool area which was very quiet & secluded. The bedrooms have air-conditioning & fans - the living space just has a ceiling fan - can be a bit warm if there's not much of a breeze. Kitchen has a fridge / freezer, 2 burner hob, toaster, jug & microwave. The villa's all seem to be well maintained & the house-maids tidied each day. The only comment I would make about the villas is that I thought it would be nice if there were a couple of loungers put on the decks - currently there is only a table & 6 chairs. Dining is at the Cafe on the wharf or at Dicks Place, a short stroll down the beach. Alternatively there is a store on the wharf which has pretty much everything you would require to self cater. Prices are a little expensive but you have to bear in mind this is an island location. Best place for drinks? The island bar out on the point, very reasonably priced. No shortage of activities - snorkelling, wind-surfing, kayaking, SUPing, fishing etc. and theres a track around the island for a walk or run. A 10 minute walk will get you to Plantation Island and Limani Resorts where there are additional restaurants and bars however you can't charge back to Musket Cove. All in all a fantastic holiday. Will we go back? Hell yeah!!!

"So glad we chose treasure Island not other islands"
Treasure Island is perfect size with great snorkelling from beach front and around reef dropoff around whole Island. Easy paddle to beachcomber Island where I caught free snorkelling trip to reefs in deep water. Stunning! Food good value a large carte (we took cereals for breakfast)

"Beautiful staff, awesome views"
Easy going days, water crystal clear, lunch menu my favourite big selection and fast service. Well done keeping kids out of adult pool not like castaway adults ignore sign. Wait till they are kids free.

"It's been everything pleasant and easy"
very good place with a beach side protected from the south wind (when present) so that to enjoy the beach and the snorkeling despite the sea outside was rough. It's a place very quite and fit for families with a very good kids club with open air activities (cocunuts hunting, crab hunting, handicraft with straw, sand castle and evening walks and play on the beach - bottom glass boat trip close to the beach), my daughter loved it and a lot of kids are there anytime. Snorkeling is good even not very far from the beach (trumpet fish, stingrays, corals and reef fishes, I saw also small lobsters and a couple of baby black tip shark). The mattress was not very confortable for me becasuse it was too soft and I suffered it because of the position. Buffet could be better but with a la carte menu one week can be enjoyed. Pizza was not good at all.

    Mamanuca Islands Hotels Guide

A group of small islands offshore from Nadi, the Mamanucas are ringed by sandy beaches, turquoise to pastel green waters, and coral reefs. Access is a quick hop from Nadi via boat or plane transfer, and accommodation options range from budget to luxury, and bures (traditional thatch-roof huts) through to exclusive beachfront villas. Scuba diving and snorkelling in this region comes highly recommended.
