But once in was cosy, stayed when it was really cold and was nice and warm in the room. Bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a refresh, as well as the bedroom. We booked for a weekday night and enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful stay. The staff were incredibly kind and made everything clear from the moment we arrived. Upon entering our room, we were instantly impressed by the clean, spacious, and beautifully presented accommodation. It featured a large bathroom, a big TV, a kettle, a fridge, and a very comfortable bed. We even had a stunning view from our large open window overlooking the front car park (a lovely car park!). Breakfast was included the next morning and it was absolutely delicious. The team was very accommodating of my wife's dietary requirements, reassuring us about the gluten-free options and putting us completely at ease. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, greeting us with calmness and big smiles. A big thank you to the pub manager for all her help. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing night away or a few days’ holiday. We decided very last minute to stay in the Cotswalds overnight. I wanted to experience a staying a traditional inn. The Horse and Groom was perfect! We couldn't have asked for anything better. The guestroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We booked just an hour before we arrived, but they were gracious to accommodate us. The Inn is picturesque, the breakfast was amazing even though we were there on Monday when they do t offer their full breakfast menu. The service was the best we have ever received.
