Great family run hotel 5 minutes walk from the beautiful old town of Pollensa. Perfect location.Upgraded to one of their new apartments which was spacious & very clean. Staff couldnt be more helpful, tips on local places to see. Didnt eat in the restaurant. Would recommend for a quiet, stress free stay.

Unacceptable, laundry in the lobby and no seating?
Son Sant Jordi is obviously not in need of any business or is taking travelers like myself as fools. We reserved this place, it’s not like it’s cheap, on the basis of its reviews and availability. When we arrived, we were greeted with upended furniture in the lobby, an unruly( albeit innocent) child running around (the grand child) linen on clothes driers all around the lobby and a very feeble attempt of an explanation that it’s the end of season??. We were accommodated across the road on the ground floor where we were met with builders mats and angle grinders whilst builders were working on the building. After finding a rotten orange in the fruit bowl at breakfast the next morning I handed in my key and said we were leaving. We had booked two nights but I did not care. This place is a disgrace to the hospitality industry. If you want to close down out of season do so, but do not take bookings and expect your guests to feel like they are walking into the laundry room. I will add the hotel contacted me after they saw my initial Hotels.Com review on check in and tried to explain that they are just a family hotel and that some of their furnishings were being renewed. Not so. If it were my establishment I would not take a booking whilst service was being impacted and secondly I would make an attempt to refund a dissatisfied guest. Furthermore, it’s a huge daily run business and maybe they just don’t care after 1st November?! If it were my business I would feel ashamed.

This is a lovely hotel in a historic building situated in a quiet part of Pollenca. The family who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice garden with a small pool where. Breakfast is good. There is no bar, however you can walk through to the attached restaurant where you can order drinks and food. The garden is quiet and peaceful. We would have liked some background music, but that's a personal choice

The property smells of raw sewage throughout. Also, despite being a hotel youbhave to make an appointment if you want to check in. Breakfast had a machine with rotten fruit juice, a very por selection of everything and a sign that ordered guests to present a doctor's certificate if you want gluten-fee food. Lastly, upon check-in they tried to charge me again for the room.

Dear Sir/Madam, How sad that you are writing all this comments as anonymous instead of given your name. It would had been a pleasure to help you with all this issues, I am at the reception/hotel from 08.30 to 16.30h every day except Sundays (Antonia). However, I would like to clarify what you have mentined. First of all - The juice may not be your taste but no way that the juice is rotten. -Second, when our clients had needed gluten free food, they have asked for it and had been able to enjoyed breakfast with gluten free toast, baguetts Muffins, marmelade/jam, ham etc... It is not daily there because not many people eats gluten free, Althought , it does not mean that we can not offer them to our clients. Regarding the check in and the payment, I am really sorry if I wasn't at the reception the following day when you came to do the ckeck in ( I guess you had a late arrival and the reception was closed ). Many apologies as well if I thought you have to pay for your booking upon arrival, ( oblviously I should have checked before speaking to you ) However I think these "mistakes" are more than understandables and it is totally unnecessary to mentioned in here as if I wanted to charge you twice. The saddest thing for me is to know that, on your last day you mentioned how nice was everything, that you may come back again as you have had a lovely time despite the weather (one, day it rained ). All the best,

Town centre hotel
This hotel is almost in the centre of the lovely town of Pollenca, just a few minutes walk from the main town square and restaurants. The room we had was spacious, and was located across the road from the main hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great, both breakfast and dinner were varied and good quality, just don't expect a 'full English'. The only down side was the hotel bar was closed between 4 and 7 when we returned from our daily hike! It can be noisy at night with holiday makers and locals enjoying themselves, and first thing in the morning with refuse collection and deliveries, but that's to be expected bearing in mind the town centre location.

Great location but not a four star hotel.
Great location but this hotel is not four star quality. Maintenance is a major issue. Our first room had extremely noisy air conditioning (such that it could not be used overnight) and a bathroom in sore need of renovation. Our second room smelt very badly of damp and there were various plumbing problems, which the owners were clearly aware of but thought it acceptable to let the room nonetheless. There is a very nice garden area but it would be unwise to walk barefoot as the owners' dog fouls the grassy area at will (we did not see anyone clearing up after it).

The Perfect Hotel
This is a charming upmarket boutique Hotel set in the Beautiful town of Pollensa and within 3 mins walk from the lovely square with multiple restaurants. The hotel staff are friendly and upgraded my accommodation to a beautiful suite wit two bathrooms and huge bed. The garden is tranquil with a pool and lots of exotic plants that relax you and lots of hanging chairs. To top it of two beautiful parrots who are free to walk around and enjoy. You will not be disappointed with this Hotel and the perfect location.

Convenient and would stay again
Ideal for visiting Pollensa. The hotel is a short (5 minute) stroll from the town centre with its many shops, restaurants.and historic buildings The fact that this is so close to the centre, but has a lovely garden and pool is an added bonus. Breakfast selection was good and we also had a lovely meal in the adjoining restaurant (although quite pricey for the area) Arrived late (recommend letting the hotel know in advance). Staff very friendly and helpful. Lockup parking (about 200m away) is a bonus as the local streets are very narrow and street parking difficult. Suggest you don't hire a large car if you want easy access in the centre of Pollensa.

More Fawlty Towers than boutique hotel
On the surface of it the hotel has a boutique appearance but this is undermined by an endemic inability to deliver on service. On arrival the main door was locked and we had to enter via the restaurant, this it appears is normal practice as reception isn't manned. Our 'superior' room was small, with single beds abutted under faux four poster drapery. The small refrigerator did not work, the kettle provided for tea/coffee could only be plugged in in the bathroom or by the bedside tables. Throughout our stay we experienced frequent power cuts, unusually lasting for only a minute or two, which suggested that the hotel power supply was tripping out. The included breakfast was a dismal affair. The cooked items were inedible, coffee provided by three separate machines which were rarely all working was tepid unpleasant tasting. Stale bread was left out from previous days, cereal merely covered with foil and left out. By choice it would be far better to eat out. The poolside toilet had no water supply for the first few days. The provided towels were good, but frequently too few and not replenished. The hotel restaurant is one of the more expensive places to eat in Pollensa, but seemed to be understaffed and overwhelmed when busy. On the one occasion we dined there, one of our main courses was completely forgotten and we had to wait twenty minutes for it to arrive. The food was a best indifferent . Finally, be warned - a late checkout is charged at the eye-watering 84 Euro.

A little Oasis and secret gem!
My wife and I went there for a weeks stay after our wedding. The hotel was charming and so were the staff. A lovely relaxing family run hotel. The situation in town was perfect. Nice and quiet with only a 2 min walk to the busier centre. The restaurant in the hotel was also run by a family, all be it a different family. And again it was fantastic, the food and service was personal and delicious. We'll be back.

Great location, average hotel
Quite expensive for the overall standard. Gorgeous garden, great location and good continental breakfast (hot breakfast not so good). However, our main issue was the room standard; no toiletries, no minibar; which meant drinks were unavailable when the bar was closed (quite a lot of the time) and the very annoying issue of having two single beds pushed together even though we booked a double room.... not exactly romantic for a couple!

A beautiful boutique hotel with an ideal location.
Hotel Son Sant Jordi is definitely a secret gem. It has an ideal location perfect for pottering round the cobbled quaint streets of Pollenca. It's just a short drive to the coast ( which is a lot more built up & touristy!) The food in the restaurant is amazing but being so close to the town centre there are numerous restaurants & tapas bars to explore so it's fun to venture to local jaunts too.

Last minute find
A loveley boutique type hotel, hidden in the back streets of Pollensa. A short strowl away to the main square and lots of great restaurants (dont eat in square, expensive and not best food). Ideal of you want peace and quiet, coupled with great charm. A world away from the tat of the main resorts and all that comes with it. Rooms are all very different so be sure to check which you are booking.

Depends what you're after
The hotel itself is very sweet and in a very central location - no more than a 3 minute walk to all the restaurants in the centre of the town. The owner was friendly enough, though he always seemed in a hurry and it sometimes felt like we were inconveniencing him by making requests. The room was very pretty but incredibly dark - a single small window that opened out onto a neighbour's (outdoor) laundry area, so we had a lot of tumble drying to put up with. The air conditioning never managed to get the room below 25 degrees at night. The fridge in the room didn't work when we arrived, I let the owner know and he removed it immediately, promising we'd have a new one the next day. That didn't turn up during the entire week we stayed. But our biggest gripe was that the double bed actually turned out to be two singles, made up individually and pushed together. Not great for a romantic break. On review I think that Breakfast was fairly average - not bad but didn't blow us away. The pool area was lovely and quiet, except for one day when there was a private party in the garden and I was rather unceremoniously shunted to the dark end of the garden, and felt like I was invading their privacy. Overall opinion is that it is probably the best hotel in Pollenca, and we were probably unlucky in many respects, but we wouldn't visit again.

Our stay was great, the room was clean and big but the bathroom need some maintenance and we were missing some towels, the soap is not the greatest, lots of choice at breakfast and taste was ok, the sauna was a plus but too bad the temperature was not warm enough and the jacuzzi was not on. Overall a good value for the money but some minor adjustments could be made.

Tip: parkeer op de publieke parkeerplaats net buiten het centrum. Rijd niet het stadje in, de straten zijn zeer smal.
