Pleasant stay. Easy transfer from port. Room was a touch small as was the TV. food is very good. Service excellent. Perhaps a little more anti mosquito measures like nets on windows and doors would be nice, also some measures at dinner also.

The Perfect Hotel in Salina
Everything about this hotel is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful hotel, inside, outside, amazing views, and great design. Very good staff. Very good food & cocktails. Amazing reception and service.

Lovely hotel! Beautiful location and atmosphere. Service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the vineyard restaurant and it was delicious!

The hotel is a gem on the island of Salina - first of all it’s an “Albergo Diffuso” ie. each room is in a separate building and each of them create a small village. The building is beautifully integrated with Nature: when walking around you can smell scents from different plants including capers plants. Service was great and amenities well worth the price of the room - special mention to the SPA (we got a free entry pass thanks to the Expedia VIP program!), the rentable electric motorbikes and the salt water pool. Also, it is not mentioned on the profile but the hotel is home to the only Michelin star restaurant of the Aeolian islands (1 Michelin star) - make sure you reserve a table well in advance, it’s a must do experience and it’s very popular across the island. As an area of improvement I would recommend the hotel to work on the guests’ wow effect and stop milking guests at all costs - the bar is uselessly pricey (bar menu prices are super high with no real justification - eg. €7 for a coke) and we were expecting some free refreshments / fruits by the pool available for guests - this is what you expect from such signature gourmet hotels (is it so expensive to offer complimentary water by the pool or fresh sliced fruit?). Overall a great property with few major areas of improvement that can be easily fixed by management. The best in Salina!

This is a fantastic restaurant, but the food is where all the focus is. The hotel is no good. The food & restaurant service was incredible, we would eat there again & again without hesitation. I wouldn’t stay in the hotel though. The check in was odd, we weren’t shown around the property at all, just to the room. It was unclear how food and drink services worked when you weren’t fine dining. There was a pool drinks menu but no means of ordering anything on it. It turned out you had to wander around (in swim/beach clothes) until you found someone working in the restaurant. Similarly if you wanted lunch (bistro style food) taking a break from time around the pool you were seated alongside people eating a 7 course tasting menu, very odd. The other main issue was the comfort of the furniture. The pool sun loungers were the most uncomfortable I have ever used & it was the same for the room terrace furniture. It wasn’t possible to relax on it, we had to fashion our own seating area using our room cushions. I expect much more from a hotel that charges me a room rate of £300 a night. The spa is lovely, facilities are very nice. Again the only let down was the service. We asked simply about spa access & what that included, reasonable considering COVID adjustments & we were made to feel like a nuisance. We were told our transfer to the next hotel would be confirmed. It wasn’t confirmed & I was overcharged. Beautiful property & restaurant such a shame about the hotel service

A place to go for quiet
There was a wedding during the weekend that we were only notified of once arriving. It was hugely disruptive and meant that there was very limited service but I imagine the hotel would be nicer if there wasn't a wedding.

The hotel was exceptional. I felt completely taken care of! In reception Juliano was able to carefully navigate my experience. In the restaurant service staff paid such close attention Gracanna, Rafaelo, Ricardo, Josephine a pure pleasure what an excellent menu and wine list! To be able to travel to such an amazing place!

Absolutely perfect. The rooms and spa were stunning and the pool and bar were amazing. The sommelier expertly paired local wine with a great meal.

A hotel full of character, in a beautiful location
We visited at the end of October, when the weather in the Aeolian Islands is still fine but there are no crowds. On arrival by taxi (15 minutes from the ferry) we were given a warm welcome. Our room was large and tastefully decorated and furnished, and it had sea views. There was an excellent en-suite bathroom. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and the service was of a very hight standard. The hotel consists of a central building, in typical Aeolian farmhouse style, beautifully furnished, which contains the dining area, bar and a lovely library. There are large terraces, with great views of Stromboli and other islands. The accommodation is in adjacent buildings, which are also in typical Aeolian style. There is a large swimming pool and gardens as well as a spa. The restaurant serves very good Sicilian food with a good selection of local wines. There are great walks on the island of Salina. It is easy to get around as we did by bus, or you can hire a scooter. There are many boat trips available to visit the neighbouring islands.

Very nice and friendly hotel
The original room we booked was not satisfactory, we upgraded for a substantial increase. There is no way of telling in advance of what the room will be really like. Other than that, the staff were extremely friendly, it had an excellent restaurant, although the chef got carried away with the creativity a little so you may want to stick to the a la carte menu. The island is beautiful and has great hikes and walks for the active traveller. Overall, it was a very good hotel.

Fantastic service
We had three nights at this beautiful boutique hotel. It was recommended by our daughter who stayed here last summer and loved it. Hotel Signum is an unusual mix of relaxed slightly rustic charm with luxury facilities and fantastic service. The food was some of the best we have ever had on any of our numerous visits to Italy and the islands. The Spa was an added extra for us which was incredibly relaxing. Looking forward to going back again!

Set in a very peaceful spot on Salina island , a tastefully renovated property we were upgraded to water view room when we arrived.The staff were helpful and dinner and breakfast were great. Sorry we could not stay longer

Beautiful setting, very calm and peaceful with views down to the sea. Stayed in the newly renovated suite which feels luxurious and a real treat - it includes two terraces. This hotel fits the 'rustic' description i.e. some aspects are fairly basic such as breakfast which is fine but not quite as good as you might expect at this price.

Simple luxury in a beautiful location
This is a very restful, luxurious hotel - if you want to do nothing but lie around, read, swim, relax, eat and drink then this would be the pefect place! It is quite challenging to get to, especially if the weather is bad, but it is in a very special location. You feel completely cut off and are forced to wind down. We chose the cheapest room, but I loved how simple it was, light and airy with lots of space. The shower was great! Wonderful views from the terrace, tempting spa, lovely pool and very attentive, welcoming and helpful staff. We went to the restaurant for a treat as it was quite expensive. The food is exceptional quality, but portions rather small (is this always the way with haute-cuisine!). My top tip would be to go the restaurant/pizzeria down the road: Pizzeria a’ Lumeredda’ on Via San Lorenzo. Lovely staff, especially one very sweet older waiter. The atmosphere there was relaxing and the food nice and hearty (seafood linguine was my favourite!). Would recommend this hotel for its beauty, understatement and luxury. Oh and the breakfast was great, especially the cakes!

A l’arrivée, accueil assez froid, le personnel n’a pas pris la peine de nous faire visiter toutes les installations de l’hôtel, nous laissant attendre sur une terrasse avec une bouteille d’eau. A la piscine, il est très difficile d’avoir une chaise longue…. Nous obligeant à rester sur une chaise en métal. La vue depuis la terrasse est belle. Globalement, les prix sont très élevés mais surtout le rapport qualité/prix n’y est clairement pas.

We stayed at Signum for one night. Rooms and reception desk was nice as well as the interior of the hotel. However the service at the dinner and breakfast was non existing and overpriced. Overall disappointed with our stay.

E' stato una bella esperienza, la struttura è molto bella e elegante, qualche problema c'è stato come presa scart TV non funzionante e poi riparato, frigorifero staccato, cassaforte non funzionante elettronicamente (risolto il problema con la chiave). Il costo della colazione è davvero eccessivo per quello che si offre. Personale eccezionale

Hotel composé d'un hameau de maisons regroupees, beaucoup de charme,très fleurie mais helas en cette periode post Covid l'hôtel n'était pas près à reouvrir avec un manque evident de personnel: personne pour récupérer des valises, des commandes qui n'arrivent pas, pas de serviettes de piscines, pas de lit fait...etc...ils ont même proposer d'engager ma fille pour le mois d'Aout! Nous compatissons en ces moments de crise sanitaire, mais pour 340 euros la nuit.....cela fait un peu trop.

Un posto molto bello ma che potrebbe essere super.
Un ritorno in un posto che amiamo molto, ma andrebbero curati un po' di più i dettagli per avere l'eccellenza. Illuminazione in bagno assolutamente inadatta a una donna per truccarsi e con presa elettrica troppo lontana dallo specchio per l'uso del rasoio elettrico. Anche le amenities troppo low-profile soprattutto tenendo conto della presenza della Spa in Hotel, telefono in camera non funzionante e erbe selvatiche cresciute nelle fughe tra le mattonelle intorno alla piscina. Insomma, ok il fascino del luogo un po' selvatico ma andrebbe dosato meglio. La cucina stellata, ammirevole ma troppo strana per i nostri gusti, dovrebbe proporre anche piatti più semplici per chi non ha grandi velleità in merito. Anche la colazione è un po' deludente nella varietà della proposta, ma la gentilezza e la carineria di Marilena ti farebbero amare qualsiasi cosa. Il wi-fi non funzionava in nessuna parte della struttura. In terrazza le ragazze sono tutte stupende e Valentina una bravissima Bar Tender molto appassionata al suo lavoro che prepara cocktail meravigliosi. Non avrei messo tavoli di cristallo in una terrazza dove il sole riflette e acceca chi è seduto a godersi un tramonto.

Das Hotel strahlt durch die Lage, die Ausstattung der Zimmer und des Restaurant und die Freundlichkeit des Personals eine durchweg sehr positive und äußerst angenehme Atmosphäre aus. Das Früchstücksbuffet ist sehr gut und das Essen im Hotelrestaurant vom Feinsten. Der Aufenthalt wird insgesamt unvergesslich bleiben.

Ein Ort zum Entspannen
In der Frühsaison (April) ist es noch sehr ruhig. Man trifft sich mit den anderen Gästen und tauscht sich aus. Das Essen ist excellent und das ganze Team ist freundlich und doch persönlich. Eines der besten Hotels, welches wir gesehen haben. Phantastische Aussicht, aber auch ein wunderschönes SPA. Sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung.

Bel hotel mais attention a l'emplacement de la chambre! Pres de la piscine et au dessus du restaurant c'est TRES bruyant!!! L'accueil est inegal, il y a du personnel tres gentil et attentionne et d'autres beaucoup moins. Le restaurant est vraiment decevant! Et attention car l'hotel ne prevoit pas de servce de navette ou bus a l'arrivee du bateau donc c'est 20€ de taxi a l'aller et 30€ si c'est trop tot le matin... En bref je dirais que c'est tres tres cher pour ce que c'est surtout quand il n'y a presque rien a faire autour.

letto con materasso scomodo, televisore microscopico , luce in bagno quasi nulla , doccia molto cheap . bellissima posizione, piscina, personale eccellente, ma con quel prezzo qualcuno dovrebbe rifare il letto e cambiare asciugamani la sera . ristorante molto pretenzioso e molto caro. da notare il supplemento di 3 euro (camera a 250) per 1 uovo alla coq .....mai visto in una lunga carriera di viaggiatore . chiesa perche per la spa bisogna pagare un supplemento per accedervi anche se si sta in hotel
