The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved how quiet it was. It was lovely to sleep with the slider open and listen to the waves. The breakfast was very good. They had plenty of good choices. I would recommend this hotel.

This place is absolutely awesome! The availability to the hotel's restaurant was ever present and the prices were better than competitive against restaurants in Malaga. There's a beautiful outdoor area around the pool (real grass) with lawn chairs and thatched. Cross a walkway (not a street) and you're on the beach. They have a gym and an indoor pool (that we didn't use) and a professional masseuse that we did use. Again, no gouging on the price of the massage< basically half of what you'd pay on a cruise ship. The floors are all marble, every floor, every room. The bed was comfortable and the tv had a couple channels in English that wasn't news. Finally, a HUGE thank you to Lucia. Lucia checked us in 6 hours after check in was supposed to happen...and that was the easy part. Immediately upon arriving at the Malaga train station, I used my credit card at the only ATM in the train station mall. We get in the cab and Master Card sends me a text that I'd just charged the remaining balance of my card. We get to the hotel and I'm livid and talking with MC and Lucia is watching this. I was so into trying to get my card fixed, I left my wife with Lucia to get our room. I was no fun to be around, but Lucia just made it better, and 5 minutes later the card was fixed, and all was good. We stayed 2 additional nights because of our experience with Lucia and the wonderful facility.

Don't book this hotel if you want to sleep. The staff are helpful, location convenient. But it's a dated property with no internal soundproofing whatsoever, every sound from neighbouring rooms and the corridors can be heard, even the squeak of the hinges of the wardrobes. I dread to think how awful sleep quality would be in a busy season with high occupancy.

The hotel is quite nice. However the bed was very firm, with not much give, and the tv wouldn’t turn off for the two night stay, despite their attempts to fix it. The ambiance was very welcoming and the desk personnel were helpful. Very reasonably priced.

Wonderful beach front hotel with incredible views. Facilities are nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Well worth the stay!

Very convenient for early flight.
Needed a hotel close to Malaga airport. Greeted by a friendly receptionist. Comfortable rooms. Buffet style dinner available with a wide choice. Would definitely use again.

We have stayed at this property on numerous times due it's convenient location to the airport. The last time we stayed I vowed not to return due to the very poor condition of the allocated room, ripped curtains hanging off the rails and an aircon system that wheezed without respite, but hey I relented and tried it one more time, wish I hadn't. Same old problem with the aircon units sounded like it was drawing it's last few moments of life, there was no way to sleep with the unit running, the curtains didn't hang off the wall in this room but when you tried to close them the entire rail moved and finally for some unknown reason they had only provided one chair on the Seaview balcony. I just wonder what housekeeping does when they clean a room do they report problems in the room to their line manager and does it go up the chain. To be fair the foyer and public rooms looked quite good and the check was easy but come on guys it would seem that this was done at the expense of room maintenance. The Parador Malaga Golf is on your doorstep, it is cheaper that you and the quality by far surpasses yours. Not enamored with this experience staying at the Sol.

The floor in the room looked like it had not been cleaned for months. The breakfast was appalling, the quality was extremely poor even for warm ups. The attitude of the reception staff was well below par howxthis hotel got 4 stars when itconly deserves 2 stars at best.

Hotel was lovely. It is right on the beach. Only draw back was that it is in a residential area, although a very nice area, there very few places to eat or drink without getting taxi or bus into Malaga. No information pack in rooms. Housekeeping a bit hit and miss.

The hotel, grounds and beach was clean and well maintained. A better atmosphere should have been created around the pool area simply by playing the same lounge music that was playing in the lobby.

The location of the property was super. Right on the sea, so beach walks were wonderful. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only negative was that the mattresses on the beds could use an upgrade. Very convenient for the flight we had in the early morning.

We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the choice of food was over our expectation, plenty of choice, whatever diet you're on. The play area and equipment were a bit outdated, or worn. Overall experience still above average, recommended for every travellers, with or without kids.

Clean and views - complete No walkable adjacency to shops restaurants except one Italian restaurant that doesn’t seat diners until 8 PM CAB from airport is e15. UBER is e9.5 Rooms nicely designed but extremely sterile - grey walls, no pictures on walls. Like a nice prison

What a gorgeous hotel. I had a front, sea facing room on the top floor. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, all amenities as advertised. Check in was easy, checked in by Carmen who was friendly, informative and efficient. There were 3 vending machines, one with sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks, one with hot drinks and one with emergency medical supplies. There is only a promenade between the hotel and beach so the only noise at night was the waves. Glorious! The bus into Malaga goes from outside the front door and drops off about 100 yards away. Very easy and convenient. Journey takes about 45 mins. The outdoor swimming pool is huge and there are plenty of sunbeds. The indoor pool is clean and well attended. NOTE! Swimming hats must be worn which can be bought at the hotel or local shop nearby.The food is excellent and good value for money. All in a super hotel in a super situation but not a place for nightlife or entertainment. A place to relax and unwind.
