We enjoyed our stay. We were close to shops and restaurants and the bed was comfortable. Walked to the beach. Did our own trips by car to nearby areas. Parking was pricey in the parkade but at least it was nearby and safe. Tap in the bathroom sink needs to be tightened. We didn't cook but the kitchen was good.

Super hotel with a wide range of facilities for adults and children. We had an apartment which was huge with a large lounge diner, two big bedrooms with two bathrooms. There was no kitchen which was fine as we were half board but a bit of fridge space that was more than a mini fridge would have been good.
The restaurants and food were excellent with such a massive range of variety (even had Brussel Sprouts for a breakfast option!!). There was too much to choose from at times that I overate! All the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff who worked tirelessly in what was a big operation. The room / apartmert was kept really clean and tidy every day as well.
The gym was ok, we didn't use it, it's a holiday after all. Some people have complained about the lack of facilities in it but its a hotel not a leisure centre, it was more than adequate. All the swimming pools were great and we could get fresh beech towels every day. The activities staff were great and fun and the aqua aerobic classes were fun and popular.
We have 2 children ages 4 and 9 but tended not to use the children's entertainment as most children were Spanish families on holiday from the inner and larger cities and towns. Therefore I think they would have been a little unsettled although the staff did speak basic English.
You do have to stick your beech towels out early in the morning for the pool or everyone else will have reserved the sun-beds which is a pain.

Usually take hols in UK, so not really an experienced traveler abroad. Checking in staff were nice & friendly & escorted us to our apartment, which didn't have any particular wow factor but was clean, adequate & comfortable to stay in.Only downside according to the wife was there wasn't a hairdryer at the apartment. The complex it was situated in was pretty & the pools were not over crowded. Didn't eat in the restaurants but had a few drinks at the bar & the staff were friendly.
Location was easy to get to but slightly more than a stones throw from the beeches which we always walk to but could of done with the car on the way back.(Uphill & nicely fed & watered.)
Some of the surrounding areas could do with tidying up/finishing off and a lot of holiday goers in Nerja seem to take their four legged companions and not all the owners are quite so conscientious or meticulous at picking their deposits up!
Overall we had a nice break and would go back to the same place if we went back to Nerja.
Pre-arrival email and phone call were useful as we had morning arrival and wished to be near family who had separate booking. This was accommodated and one apartment was available on arrival so we could change and go for lunch. Food in The Clubhouse was freshly prepared and the homemade tiramasu was one of the best I've had! It was quiet while we were there but know that it would be different during school holidays. No problem getting loungers by pool. We managed to avoid the "holiday scheme" hard sell! Only criticism I would make is that cleaning and change of towels should happen at least twice in the week. Other than that I would recommend Pueblo Evita.
A warm welcome was given on a late check-in. Hotel in excellent position convenient for beach, restaurants, cafes, bars and access to the shops in Marbella. The suite was large, clean and very comfortable
