Front desk receptionist who attended to me at check-in was helpful and professional. Was given a room that has a nasty odour; like wet blankets left in a room. Room was changed to my request. Next room was ok, but air-conditioning was noisy. In the evening I asked another person at front desk if they could send someone to have a look at the aircon; nobody came. Gave up. I guess for the price I paid, couldn't expect much. Lucky it was only a night stay. Luckily, the staff said that they are upgrading the hotel. There was no housekeeping, so we called for housekeeping but no one came when we left for dinner at 5.30pm. We had a chat with the reception about the housekeeping while on the way out. Guess what, the room was still the same when we returned at 11pm. Had to go down personally to request for toiletries.
