It was bad building structure to build each staircase step so high up. Also, hotel is rather stingy with their toiletries. They dun provide hand nor face towels nor toothbrushes etc. When I requested for an extra towel, I was told that the next day I could only have 1 new towel change since the today I had 3 towels. During the arguement i showed the receptionist our prove of payment, suddenly she change her claims that it was only the rm2 tax wasnt paid yet. The place is a bit run down for the price. The biggest turn off is the water dispenser in the lobby with the sign "STAFF ONLY". Really? You won't let your guests refill their water bottles in the lobby of the hotel they're staying in?! The bathroom sink leaked. The wifi simply stopped working from 12am - 8am. The water pressure in the shower varies from medium to dripping. Comfortable with basic needs covered. No in-room coffee/tea facility. No lifts/elevators either. So be prepared to walk up to flights of stairs if your room is on the second floor. If you're planning to drive there, parking is limited. Great location though for shopping on Jonker Street. Excellent pub called Sid's just across the road.
