it is not cheap hotel. I stayed fairmont hotel for 4times last year, so this time i try Raffles for my experience. In fact, I booked fairmont hotel first but the calendar of expedia was very difficult to see and I made wrong reservation one month after. Because of no cancellation system, I had a hard time with expedia and fairmont hotel so I made a reservation for Raffles.
Unlike fairmont hotel, they helped me a lot. Even if i had a hard time with get in a hotel they made some kinda arrangement for me. I do appreciate for that. It is located same as fairmont so very easy access to everywhere.
The room was excellent.
I got junior suite room. Clean and nice.
it comes with breakfast and tea time and night drink.
I tried breakfast 2times.
one was eggs benedict and the other one was the special breakfast.
eggs benedict was perfect. I would love to eat again.
their special breakfast was full of bread.
I do not think i am going to choose this breakfast again.
it was nice taste but almost too much of bread with french toast.
and tea time was nice.
scone was super. you should try.
but again full of bread makes you full easily so be careful to get late tea time.
you cannot eat dinner.
the Raffles has own pool beside fairmont hotel.
fairmont hotel located 4th floor and raffles pool is located 9th floor with key.
it is very private. Even if you feel lonely you can always go fairmont hotel pool as well.
overall i would love to stay this hotel when the price is not too much.
"Our stay was overall excellent. Staff were helpful"
I had we not have gotten sick, our vacation would have been excellent. The extremely hot weather had impeded our tours and other plans.
The noise from the constructions and traffic can be heard up to the 19th floors.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 2-night stay here. Compared to other parts of Manila and country for that matter, this area is very well developed. The hotel is located next to the huge Greenbelt Mall, which has high-end shopping and many American restaurants. This hotel is located in the financial district of the city, so we felt very safe and there wasn't much smog. We enjoyed their breakfast spread and the spa services. My fiance had to use their clinic/doctor during our stay since he started feeling sick toward the end of our trip, which was a pleasant experience. It was handy to have a doctor on staff. I've never been to a hotel with that option.
Good location, nice rooms. Wifi reception was not the best, however. Couldn't seem to get the air conditioner to work well either. Food used to be exceptional, now still better than average, but a more limited menu. Room rate has gone up from where it used to be. Its now not a value hotel, but its a fair price.

This is hotel is located on a busy corner in Makati. It is not near the Intramuros area or the bay. Though the hotel is clean and the staff very nice, there was only lukewarm water in the shower, the staff did not call me for my wakeup call either morning I was there. And the neighborhood is not safe, at least for me. I have my phone stolen by two boys pickpockets- just 10 minutes down the road from the hotel and only 15 minutes from the Power Plant Mall. So unfortunately I have a very negative view of the location and though the staff was very sympathetic, no one warned my about the neighborhood when I asked where I could walk to get lunch. She just pointed off and said there were restaurants in that area. The staff takes the license plate of every cab called so that was very good. The rooftop restaurant was very nice, good view and good food. The breakfast buffet had a good variety but the hot food was cold- a problem with most buffets

This is the commercial and financial centre of town, with Ayala Avenue considered the equivalent of New York’s Wall Street. Many multi-national companies have set up headquarters, alongside up-market shopping malls, luxury hotels, and a variety of cultural and recreational distractions. The relatively high numbers of ex-pats give the district a distinct cosmopolitan flavour.
