"We stayed in a lodge room. The room had recently been remodeled. It was very clean and spacious. The area around the lodging was beautiful There was a gorgeous walk through the woods and on boardwalks along the river. We were able to see the stars in the night sky, beautiful!"

"Our family of 6 stayed here for a week. We used the house as both a place to relax and as a jumping off point to do other activities in Nova Scotia. We loved it here. We enjoyed numerous outings on Ponhook Lake in the canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboard provided by the owner. The house is beautiful, clean and very well kept up. The location is stunning, with the beautiful Ponhook lake in a wilderness setting with endless opportunities for exploration. A perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy the wild beauty of the Nova Scotia country as well make day trips to other places such as Halifax, Lunenburg, or Kejimkujik. Scott, the owner, sent us a very thorough document with all the information we needed to get into the house and enjoy ourselves. He also included information about the area, which was very helpful to planning our trip. Lovely house, wonderful hosts-we can’t recommend this house enough!"
