The property also includes a beautiful, large, Mediterranean courtyard with quality of stay and a huge garden, both of which may of course be used. The house can be reached by car from the A60 in 3 minutes, from Frankfurt Airport in 23 minutes and from Mainz City in 11 minutes by bus. The central location of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies, beautiful playgrounds and various supermarkets and shops are within walking distance in a few minutes, the stadium of Mainz 05 and the university campus are quite close. The house is newly furnished and has a modern, open kitchen on the ground floor. Despite the central location is the pompous alley in which the Hofreite is very quiet and little traffic. Further information about the house During the energetic refurbishment of the former farm building built around 1890, we placed great emphasis on ecology and sustainability: the building is heated by a pellet heating system, the walls are painted with white bio-silicate paint, the wooden floorboards are oiled ( instead of lacquered), and the electricity comes from its own roof during the day. Courtyard and garden The sheltered garden, along which no roads lead along, with its fruit and flower meadows and lawns is a place for adults to relax and for children a large adventure playground including giant trampoline and a large, covered with quarry stone sandpit. Das Hofhaus war schön gemütlich, sauber und einladend. Im zugehörigen Innenhof konnte man sich gemütlich und in Ruhe aufhalten, was bei dem Wetter perfekt war! Der Vermieter, Ingo, war sehr zuvorkommend. Er hat während dem Wochenende immer wieder sichergestellt, dass es an nichts fehlt und super Programmtipps für in und um Finthen gegeben, die man sonst vielleicht nicht gefunden hätte. Die Anbindung ins Zentrum von Mainz war super einfach, die Bushaltestelle nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Markfrühstück unterm Dom sollte man hier nicht verpassen! Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in Finthen, den ich jederzeit wiederholen würde und auch jedem empfehlen kann, der ein Wochenendtrip in Mainz plant! ##### Celia T. Das Hofhaus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ingo ist ein toller Gastgeber, der auch bei den kleinen Gästen gut ankommt. Der Innenhof sowie der Garten waren wie in den Bildern zu sehen, ein kleines Paradies. Die freundliche Gastfamilie hat in der Mappe mit Beschreibungen und Umgebungstipps wirklich passende und zutreffende Orte ausgesucht, zum Einkaufen, für Ausflüge und auch für die Gastronomie, welche wir alle gerne nutzten. Alles war gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, und da wir in der Erdbeer- und Spargelzeit da waren, konnten wir aus den nahegelegenen Obsthöfen täglich diese Leckereien genießen. Mar 27, 2019 #### Tolle Zeit nahe Mainz Sehr netter Empfang durch Herrn Fischer, FeWo ganz neu und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Familie Fischer ist sehr am Wohlergehen der Feriengäste interessiert. Im Sommer stehen Sitzgelegenheiten im Hof und im weitläufigen Garten bereit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bäckereien und Parkplätze sind in der näheren Umgebung vorhanden. Finthen ist ein ruhiger Wohnort, von dem Mainz und auch Wiesbaden mit dem Bus leicht zu erreichen sind. Der Rhein mit Bingen und vielen Burgen liegt direkt um die Ecke! Jetzt, im Frühjahr hat uns besonders die Kirschblüte in den Plantagen um den Ort herum gefallen. Wir werden sicher gerne mal wieder für eine Woche vorbeikommen. LG Steffi und Hagen ##### Hagen S.
