Completely completely renovated from a design and ecological point of view (solar thermal-assisted pellet heating, electricity from your own roof) with two bedrooms and a large living-dining room with an open kitchen-living room on a dreamy farm (with former stables, house, barn, large courtyard and huge orchard) in the old one Center of Mainz-Finthen, the beautiful district of the state capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. With giant garden, courtyard with quality of stay (cobblestones and quarry stone walls) & south-facing terrace. Very quiet yet very central location (11 minutes by bus to Mainz main station, 20 minutes by car to the airport), supermarkets, banks, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. A place to relax for families and couples as well as for business travelers. Equipment / room layout The "Brunnenhaus" offers two bedrooms, a large living-dining area with an open kitchen (incl. Dishwasher) and a modern daylight bathroom (incl. Bathtub and washing machine). It is accessed via the Mediterranean courtyard and is completely equipped with fine natural wood flooring inside (except in the bathroom and hallway). The daylight bathroom and the two bedrooms are on the first floor. The bigger one is u. a. furnished with a large double bed (1.80 x 2m) and a sofa that can also be used as a comfortable sofa bed when unfolded. The smaller bedroom is u. a. furnished with two single beds (0.9 x 2m each). Die Umgebung mit den Kirschplantagen laden zum Fahrradfahren gerade zu ein. Nach Mainz oder auch nur zum Rhein ein Katzensprung. Super nette Vermieter, die gleich nebenan sind. Die Unterkunft hatte alles was man für ein gemütliches Wochenende benötigt. Die Kommunikation und der Check-In und Check out verliefen reibungslos. Die Anbindung an die Innenstadt ist sehr gut. Many great restaurants within walking distance too. We had major jetlag and never had any problems sleeping at weird hours. Very quiet. Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig aber sehr verkehrsgünstig und die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die komplette Einrichtung in einem super Zustand und genügend Platz im großen Wohn- Essbereich oder auch im riesigen Garten. Gastgeber Ingo kümmert sich sehr sehr nett und unkompliziert um seine Gäste. Die Anreise und die Übergabe der Wohnung wurden schon vorher abgesprochen, sodass auch unsere späte Anreise kein Problem war. We especially enjoyed having a full kitchen and laundry washing machine. The home is very accessible to local tram and bus connections to downtown Mainza. Ingo was responsive to all of our requests. Ingo and Julie went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. We ended up staying at this home for the first 14 nights in Germany while we shopped for a permanent home. The location in Finthen was a little farther from work but we actually loved it because we could explore this little town that we probably wouldn’t have otherwise! The home was clean, fresh, and just so lovely! The backyard was awesome for our two rambunctious kids, as was the proximity to grocers and restaurants!
