Play golf at the public Maggie Valley Country Club just minutes from the house. Enjoy the outdoor charcoal grill or make s’mores at the fire pit with friends and family with ample seating with two picnic tables and chairs. Motorcycle friendly and accessible. Explore the shops and restaurants in Maggie Valley, or use the house as a home base with the many surrounding attractions within an hours drive. Hike in the Smokey Mountains or take a drive on the blue ridge parkway nearby. Shopping in downtown Waynesville is just a 15 minute drive away, or adventure into Asheville in under an hour. We look forward to our week in October every year and this year a little more than most. From the moment we arrived, everything was just wonderful. From the decor to the view to the indoor fire place, outdoor fire pit, and of course the hot tub. It was a much needed break from our normal routine and it was amazing. The kitchen is great for cooking with all necessary pots, pans, dishes, cups, etc. and equipment. Two different kinds of coffee makers and toaster. My friends and I loved this place! Great location, nice & private in the treetops! I had a few questions and Clay was prompt and courteous with his replies. Very clean and comfy beds with extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils, and appliances. We had planned to use the fire pit, but with the windy and dry conditions opted instead to enjoy the gas logs in the living room.
