Fully renovated, the interior of this cabin is as quaint and cozy as the exterior with a gas burning fireplace, hardwood floors and vaulted family bedroom loft.This private cabin offers a wonderful yard to sit in, relax, and play during your stay. Elk Ridge Cabin is just one block away from the main thoroughfare to the Cataloochee Ski Mountain/Cataloochee Horse Ranch and 2 miles from the ramp to the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can take a scenic drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky National Park or hike many nearby trails and enjoy the waterfalls and cool streams with a picnic. Maggie Valley with all it's activities and ammenities is also very close by, as is Waynesville's historic downtown. Walk to the famous Joey's Pancake house or just spend a day at your cabin in the mountains. Asheville is a 45 min. drive away and makes for a great day trip to visit the Biltmore estate. This cabin is cozy and conveniently located in Maggie Valley. It looks just like the pictures. Note, there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal which was a slight adjustment for us. I had a couple of questions, and the owner quickly responded every time. In my opinion, I think it is an ideal space for a group of four people or less, although it can accommodate more.
