We ride motorcycles and you can’t beat being on our favorite ride hands down from Water rock knob to Pisgah Inn. From the house we were on the BRP in 10 minutes! The house didn’t disappoint. It's in a great spot in Maggie Valley, close to Asheville and Great Smokey Mountain NP. There was some noise from neighborhood dogs in the evening, and you can see the neighbor's trailer in the back yard, so it might not be the best fit if you're looking for solitude. Super clean and cozy. Right in the valley with mountains all around. You get a view of the mountains sitting on the deck and even out the window while doing dishes! Close enough for a quick trip to town but far enough away from the noise for a peaceful stay. We even saw elk three times while driving to and from town. We came to hike and chase waterfalls. The location in Maggie Valley was perfect. So many nearby waterfalls! Close to the Cherokee entrance of the Park and also close to Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway and so much else!
