I understand I did not take out the insurance but I tried to work with the owner for a credit for another stay. She said no. I then tried to at least get a refund for the cleaning fee since we didn't stay there and it didn't need cleaning. Seemed fair, but she said no. Kept saying the weather reports are never as bad as they say there.They had many inches of snow there and we had 9 inches where we live so there was no way to make it. It was located close to restaurants, Wheels Through Time museum, Cherokee Reservation and shopping. It was clean, well equiped with beautiful views. The only issue I had was the stairs. They weren't listed and I didn't ask. But I was able to manuver through. We did lots of cooking and the kitchen had all we needed, it’s incredibly clean and comfortable, and the view is amazing. We even got lucky enough to use the provided sleds on the snow. Communication with the host was great as well. The cabin was located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful Mountain View’s. You could hear the rushing stream close by. The cabin had everything you would need to cook.
