The name “Awesome View” says it all—from the front deck, you can see for 30 miles across the rolling ridges of the Smoky Mountains. Perched high above Maggie Valley, this cozy log cabin combines breathtaking long-range views with privacy, comfort, and authentic mountain charm. THE SPACE This inviting cabin sleeps up to six guests comfortably and features: • 2 Bedrooms: 1 king and 1 queen • Sleeping loft with 2 twin beds • 2 Full bathrooms The loft area also includes foosball and a regulation-size ping-pong table, letting guests enjoy some fun while admiring the panoramic mountain scenery. RELAXATION & OUTDOOR LIVING Step out onto the expansive deck and take in sweeping, year-round views of the Smoky Mountains. Relax in the large hot tub, savor the mountain air, or cook dinner on the gas grill as the sun sets. Inside, cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace or watch the fog roll over the ridges from the comfort of the living room. There’s parking for two vehicles in the driveway and one in the garage. At 4,700 feet above sea level, you’ll love the cool, crisp mountain air and peaceful surroundings—a true Smoky Mountain escape. The name is certainly accurate. If you are planning on this you NEED a 4WD vehicle. The driveway is steep and narrow and you would not want to be on this without 4WD. The images don't do it justice. From the amazing view to the cleanliness and comfort of the cabin, we truly enjoyed ourselves. Will keep in mind for future travels. My only advice to other travelers is if you do not have an AWD vehicle, take the longer route to get to the cabin and take the shorter route when heading into town. ##### Omar F. Simply beautiful at all times of the day. The house is definitely on the side of a mountain so 4wd is a must. And there are 2 ways to get up there i recommend the 2nd as it is pretty much a straight shot. It is still a little rutted from the hurricane a month ago. Communication with the owner was extremely easy and kept me up to date on the area status after the hurricane. The house was really clean other than some dog hair and finger smudges on the glass. Be sure to bring everything you need to cook with as it is a bare kitchen other than pans pots and plates. It’s a little rough getting up the mountain to it, but very doable. The cabin was very clean and equipped with any supplies one might need to cook with. We stayed in Maggie Valley so we could go to the Pow Wow on the Cherokee reservation, not far from there. It is a perfect, secluded get away with amazing views! The hot tub was an added bonus! Loved the quiet and beauty, and the cabin had everything we needed. When they say you must have a 4x4 or AWD they are not kidding! Was great that they allowed pets so my dog could get away with us and enjoy the time away. Would definitely recommend this cabin! ##### Brad K. The accommodation is in such a stunning location. The interior is warm and cozy but so spacious. We had forgotten some kitchen items and were so glad to find the kitchen stocked with spices, cooking oil, aluminum foil, scissors even duct tape!
