This hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. It was more difficult to check in after hours, as the main entrance was in a dark alley. Also, there was no sign as to how to check in and when we pressed the first buzzer, no one answered. We tried another buzzer, and they did let us in, but it is not well labelled to know which button/buzzer you choose for the hostel. The breakfast had good choices and was a good value. It was centrally located and was a short walk to the main square. Other main attractions were within a 30 minute walk. The only negative was that the room was too warm and there was no way to adjust the room temperature. It does look like they had an air conditioner for the summertime, but it was not useable in the winter. It did have a patio but overlooked alley abs was too noisy to leave door open

El apartamento era de 2 habitaciones, moderno y muy bien equipado solo que estaba en otro edificio. El desayuno es muy variado y de buena calidad. El personal muy atento y servicial

This place looks clean the only problem the wall is thin that u can hear anyone, and whats worse they never change the bedsheet! i have bedbugs all over my legs. never go back here!

The hostal is in a great location! It's an easy walk to all the attractions. The place reminds me of student dorms with private bathroom but for adults. The room keycard opens the front entry door and the elevator. This came with breakfast in the building next door. The hostal reception is located on the 2nd floor. It also has a rooftop with amazing view. My room has a cute balcony to people watch. Con: the walls are thin! You can hear every toilet flush and starting at 4 am you can hear housekeeping moving carts around. If you plan on taking a siesta, be warned that there is a gym in the adjacent building and you can hear the bass from the spin classes. Bring ear plus. The elevator is a bit slow and does not reach the rooftop. You will need to take some stairs to access the rooftop. Unfortunately, the rooftop was not well maintain during my view. I saw a dog doing his business all over the pavers so watch where you step.

Difficult to navigate narrow streets, drop bags, and find parking garage in very congested area, but staff was very helpful and they renovated our bed from two older twins to a large double bed during our stay.

We loved the place. Only few blocks away from the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol and the metro. Multiple grocery stores and shopping stores around. There’s a gym on the ground floor. Cafe and restos beside the hotel as well. Accessible to everything. The A/C works really good. Place was very clean and we got new towels everyday. Easy check-in. We loved our veranda, it overlooks the busy streets but it was suprisingly quiet at night. Never had an issue with the noise. Staff was really friendly. It was a good stay. I highly recommend the place! It was a hostal but the amenities were hotel at par. Bed was very comfortable and so were the beddings. It was 15 mins from Madrid central station. But metro is just few blocks away. We left our luggage at reception for free before we left the city.

Amazing Hotel - Excellent Value
Amazing hotel, very clean, great friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty and had a good selection of fruit, cereal, breads/pastries and some wark items e.g.. ham, sausage and egg. We stayed in a quadruple room with 4 single beds which had plenty of space and was cleaned with fresh towels every day. Only 5 mins walk from Sol/Plaza Major on a quieter side street away from the noise and buzz, so ideal for getting a good nights sleep while being centrally located. Would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was perfect, walking distance from restaurants, terrasses, supermarket and historic sites.The room was quiet but was small for 3 people ( we had our teenager with us) our friends had a larger one, so if possible try to know beforehand…

The hotel was extremely clean…someone was always washing or sweeping something…the rooms were very clean, fresh towels, comfortable beds. Good location to subway, city buses, and lots of restaurants, and activities. There is a wide range of choices of hotels in this area and glad we picked this one. Definitely would stay again.

We had a problem at first. I had made a reservation and it was confirmed but when we arrived it wasn't available. Expedia's faulyt. There were no.other rooms available anywhere in town. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and gave us an apartment, which was great.

Hey, let's first talk about the good stuff. the hostel located in a perfect spot, starting from 10m to max 2km walking to the ( market, shops, restaurants, pastry, Christmas markets, museums and heritage places, Etc ), friendly and helpful receptionists, very quiet inside the house, daily room service, the room was in very good condition it has ( 42 inch TV, queen bed it’s fit 2 large people like me 6.2ft 350 lb, air conditioning, bathroom well organize ). My concern is that the smells inside the building and the hallway is unpleasant I suggest spraying some air freshener. must be good idea.
