This charming 33m² one-bedroom apartment in Madrid is the perfect retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway. It is situated on the first floor and accessible by stairs. This apartment is designed with an open floor plan. The living room features a comfortable sofa bed, a wide-screen smart TV to watch all your favourite shows through multiple streaming options, and a dining table. The kitchenette area is equipped with essential cookware and cutlery, such as a stove, an oven, and a microwave, to prepare delicious meals. For added convenience, the apartment is equipped with a dishwasher to make post-meal cleanup a breeze and a washer and ironing equipment to meet your laundry needs. The bedroom has a queen bed with complimentary hotel-quality linens for maximum comfort. The bathroom contains all the necessary amenities, including clean towels, a hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. Enjoy your stay! Located just south of central Madrid and only a stone's throw from the city's top sites, effortlessly cool, multicultural Lavapiés is one of the hippest neighbourhoods in the city. Colourful murals and art pieces decorate the walls, lively tapas bars spill out onto the sidewalks, and the energy and heart of Madrid's international community are hard to escape. One of the highlights is the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, which houses an impressive collection of contemporary and modern art, including iconic works by Picasso and Dalí. Art enthusiasts can also explore the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, known for its extensive collection of European masterpieces spanning several centuries. A culinary haven with a diverse range of restaurants and bars, one of the standout establishments is Malacatín. This renowned restaurant offers traditional Spanish cuisine, particularly famous for its delectable cocido madrileño, a hearty chickpea-based stew. We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen, and we will gladly provide an additional charge. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. The location is great and on a quiet street in Lavapies right near the metro. The only issue is you need to walk 10 min away to get the key to get into the apartment. If you are arriving with bags, this can be quite inconvenient. Especially when checking out, my friend had to stay in the flat so I could return the key and she could stay with the bags otherwise we would have had to bring them with us on a 10 minute uphill walk. Along with checking in, you need to get a car to the key locker first then another to the building. That was a bit frustrating but other than that the place was great! Also we got locked out (our fault) but the property managers did not respond till hours later and we had to call a locksmith. We called and messaged them and they did not respond. ##### Haley C. Upon arrival at the locker in the city the keys were not in the box at a 3:10\. We attempted to call the # provided and after no answer waiting 15 mins we utilized the lockers for our luggage. The provider did not put a message on the app until 4:33 stating there was an issue with cleaning the room and it would not be available for another two hours but we could leave our bags if needed, an 1 & 1/2 after check-in.We returned to the lockers around 6:30 and the keys were still not there. Upon messaging the host they provided a new site link but it wasn’t hyperlink and as manually entering it while in the lockers to go the cleaners arrived and dropped off the keys.The room resembles the pictures however issues included the apartment having a smoke smell throughout, the bathroom remained wet and led to musty smell by end of stay. Additionally, there was no air in the bedroom.Overall it met what we needed as we spent much of our time in more touristy areas of Madrid but it was not a please t return to the room as the smoke smell although faint faired up congestion and coughing that was not prevelant during the day exploring. ##### Steven B. Wir brauchten drei Stunden bis wir den Schlüssel aus der keybox nahme Die Lage und die Wohnung selbst waren in Ordnung. Beim check-in und Check-out wurden uns wiederholt falsche Adressen und falsche Codes genannt. Dies war äußerst nervig. Obwohl wir schon zuvor nachgefragt hatten, ob es richtig sein könne, dass Entgegennahme und Rückgabe der Schlüssel an zwei unterschiedlichen Orten richtig sein könne. Keine Informationen über WLAN , es wurden uns Fotos zugesckickt wo der Router sei, diesen fanden wir erst nach mehrmaligem Bücken ganz hinten am Boden des Badschranks.Sonst gab es keinerlei Infos in der Wohnung wo was ist.Eine angegebene Telefonnummer verband uns uns irgendwohin nach Portugal, wo nur eine automatische Stimme uns aufforderte 1, 2 oder 3 zu drücken. ##### Sieglinde D.
