Its enveloping atmosphere, flawless walls, and elegant wooden floors create a cozy space. Modern furniture blends with unique pieces, offering rest and relaxation. Soft lighting and quality textiles elevate your stay. A memorable experience awaits you in this corner of warmth and sophistication. It consists of a kitchen with dining table and stools, a living room with sofa bed, and a bedroom with bathroom. Additionally, it is fully equipped with air conditioning, Smart TV, WIFI, etc. The bedroom's bed measures 1.35cm, with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. In the living room, there is a double sofa bed (1.35cm in size). The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, utensils, crockery, and cutlery, as well as a coffee maker and toaster. You also have a washing machine and iron. You will have access to the building and apartment via access codes that only you will use during your stay; you will receive all the detailed information days before arrival. The building has an elevator from which you can access the apartment, as well as the main stairs of the building. Note: To access the elevator, you have to climb several steps (approximately 10) as it is not at ground level. The accommodation is located within a very characteristic building; on the ground floor (entrance of the building) is the Compadre Barber's Club, a unique and iconic place in Madrid with a wide range of services in both the barber shop and leisure and dining. Please note that access to the building is shared with the terrace area of the establishment. In the apartment, you will find coupons that you can use at the establishment, where you will have a free beer plus a 10% discount on the entire menu and 15% off barbering services. We hope you enjoy it! Chueca is undoubtedly one of the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods in Madrid, known for its narrow streets full of bars, restaurants, and shops, and for its active daytime and nighttime life. With bus service, taxis, and the Gran Vía or Chueca metro station a few minutes away. Located behind Madrid's Gran Vía, our apartment is in a privileged area right in the city center. Voor wie dit belangrijk vindt, let op de breedte van het bed! Wij hadden het helaas vooraf niet opgemerkt maar wie verhuurt nog zo'n smal bed ? Ergens in de beschrijving staat "met oog voor detail". Dat is helaas niet positief. De douche was ok qua stromend warm water maar de kleine douche is niet bruikbaar wegens kapotte omschakeling; de doucherand plakt vol schimmel. De handdoeken waren wel zeer net, alleen een keukenhanddoek ontbrak. Zeep voorzien voor een afwasmachine die er niet is ?? Het meubilair is aan vervanging toe, alles ziet er afgeleefd uit en is helemaal niet comfortabel, de deuren vd kasten hangen scheef en/of sluiten niet. Het gebouw is zeer gehorig. Het enige raam met buitenzicht vooraan heeft enkel glas en bevindt zich boven een pub waar tot middernacht (soms tot 1 uur) lawaai gemaakt wordt. Er is geen mooi buitenzicht, je kijkt neer op een smerig plastieken zeil en verder op enkele smerige gebouwen en een streep blauwe lucht. "Geen lawaai maken na 12 am", duidelijk niet geldig voor de pubgasten en andere bewoners van dit gebouw, te pas en te onpas is het een komen en gaan 's nachts en dit gaat gepaard met veel lawaai (slaande deuren, luid gelach en gepraat). En je hoort alles wat de buren doen/zeggen :-( Aan de host : als u toch zoveel aandacht heeft voor detail, zet het dan ook om in de praktijk!!! Begin misschien met alles wat stuk is, te vervangen (doucheknop, kapotte tegels, lampekappen, kussens, kastdeuren, comfortabele keukenstoelen die niet omvallen aub.) zodat het zijn geld waard is om het te verhuren. ##### Alain K.
