Wonderful location. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the old area of Madrid. The bathroom was very small but good enough for a few days visit. It is a 4 story walk-up. This is also the first rental we've had that supplied no coffee. Only an italian coffee pot (hard to use, made very strong coffee, and not a lot of it). Great location, especially for the big three art galleries in Madrid. Great little restaurant on the street, La Tipica. You can walk pretty much wherever you’re likely to want to go in Madrid, but the metro is 5 minutes away, as are supermarkets. The flat is quiet as it’s at the back of the building. The one downside is the bathroom, very narrow, up awkward steps. No plug in basin possibly because cracked. But in all, great for a stay of up to a week or so. ##### Jane M.
