Great location!

House is near the Walker’s Point boat ramp and there was plenty of room to park our boat close to the house. Perfect size for our family and was nice to have a bath in the primary bedroom. We’ll be back!

Great stay at Lake Madison

House was great! AC was awesome, steps from a park and great community. Owners were very accommodating on our request to extend our stay. Highly recommend.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed the lake and the cabin. It was a perfect place to meet family, relax, watch football and explore the lake and area. Madison is a great small town and the restaurants on the lake offer great food and good atmosphere. Demi is very responsive and easy to work with.

Great Property

The house was a very clean cute little cabin on the lake! Sandy beach for the kiddo's to play and a grass area for yard games. We had a great time!

We loved the view and the tranquility of the location. We were disappointed with kitchen. Limited kitchen utensils, spices and no crockpots or Ziplock bags.

Lake Madison - 40 years later

From making the reservation and up until the moment we arrived, the owner was extremely accommodating, quick to reply and super easy to work with, along with a personalized touch as she knew 'why' we were coming to the lake. The property was clean and well maintained, everything functioned and what was said to be provided, was indeed. We were also able to dock our boat during the day on the small dock with our bumpers attached. A wonderful experience for my family and I, as I made the return to the lake after 40 years.

A great place!

We stayed for 4 nights in July. It was a great set-up there! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with the stuff we needed- beach towels, toilet paper, bedding, etc. The beach was awesome to have- it was a little rocky so I would suggest some water shoes. The water was also a bit green but that is normal for lakes this time of year and didn't affect our swimming! We fished and caught quite a few bass off the dock. There is a park about half a block down which was very well maintained and my kids had a blast. My only critique is that there aren't many storage containers for food. Would have been nice to have some Rubbermaid's for storing left overs. The a/c worked great, fridge,stove etc did too! The lake was not busy- probably the busiest Saturday night but maybe 3-5 boats out on the lake so it was pretty quiet. We had a fire our last night in the fire pit. No mosquitos- a few flies but nothing too bothersome! In town we went to some thrift stores, Herman Lake State Park (lots of playgrounds!), fished, and shopped at a few stores. My son has asked multiple times when we can go back!

Perfect for our family!

We have a cabin at Lake Madison & needed additional sleeping space. This cabin was perfect! Extremely convenient location, VERY clean, comfortable beds, everything we needed! The sunset views were added bonus! Thank you, Thank you!!

AMAZING location!

We (family of 4, all over 18) came to town for a Dakota State football game and found this gem of a property. The sunrises and sunsets from the backyard/sitting area are stunning. Demi is a great host and very good with communication. We had a bit of an issue when we got to the house but she called immediately and resolved it! We took advantage of the fire pit and ladder ball! Great stay overall.

Lake Madison in August

This was the perfect place for the family to gather and stay together for a family funeral and celebration of life. Enjoyed the lake view while sitting around the fire pit one night. On the last night we had a spectacular lightening show over the lake.

Very nice place for a Family Vacation!

The place was very clean and very nice. It is a very nice, quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the view of the lake during the day and sitting by the campfire at night. The property manager was great! She was very quick to respond to my questions. She made it extra special for my Grandson. The only recommendation I would make is to install some handrails at the entry/exit.
