MUCH nicer than what I expected. Not a lot of choices in the area and the price point was low. Wr were pleasantly surprised! Updated & clean. Will stay again if in the area!

If I could get my money back I would! The employees were extremely rude & refused to give my husband an extra pillow. I will NEVER RECOMMEND or stay at this dump again. On breakfast they only offered cereal. Complete joke

The room was clean and air conditioner worked great. The hotel was very close to fast food which was good since we were only here for one night. We were headed to a wedding so we needed to get ready, unfortunately, none of the outlets worked in the bathroom. So two girls were trying to get ready in the room with limited outlets and mirrors.

Very pleased
This hotel is very nice, clean, and in great condition. Their customer service is exceptional. I travel every week for business and typically stay in Hilton and Marriott hotels. This hotel is equally as clean as even a Westin hotel. I didn't see any thing that would have even needed maintenance's attention. I would definitely stay at the American Inn again when in Madill.

GROSS DISGUSTING SMELLS
It smelled like curry and garlic all the time. It was very loud - the train station is right next door and they honk the horns all night long. I felt like I was staying in the owner's private residence, they were so many of them living there. The bedding was old and raggy and most of the furnishings were second hand and banged up. I worried about bedbugs and tried to change to the BW in town but it was booked up. I couldn't leave town. But the smells of the owners cooking pig in their quarters - especially on the last day was overwhelming and disgusting, it made me gag just to walk down the hall. Gross. Horrible smells. Then the owners washed all the large cooking pots outside in the parking lot and the pig juice/smell was now outside and running all through the parking lot. I didn't like being there at all

Not the worst, but not an 8.8 as advertised.
Slow at counter with only one check-in computer/person availabe. No elevator, but only 2 floors Breakfast was snack, only real option was a waffle or premade items, so no bacon, sausage or eggs. Room HOT at arrival, took a long time to cool down. Not the worst but not 8.8. I would give a 7 at best overall.

I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Madil or Tishomingo. The owners and staff were so friendly. The entire place was very clean updated the beds were comfortable. They serve breakfast every morning and the price was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
