Vacation Rental Suite with Private Hot Tub

Freedom Lodge is an 800 sf vacation rental suite situated on the first floor of a newer 3 level cedar chalet style home. We are centrally located in Madeira Park, Pender Harbour BC, with views of the ocean, Garden Bay and Mount Daniel. Features include a private deck with BBQ, private hot tub, onsite spa services, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen & bath, WiFi, located just minutes from the village, marinas and waterfront.

The Suite sleeps up to 4 guests with a private queen bedroom and a double murphy bed in the living room. The kitchen is nicely appointed with full size stainless appliances, as well as an electric fireplace, The private deck is equipped with a hot tub for relaxing, BBQ and outdoor dining with views to the ocean and mountains.

The ocean is a 10 minute walk down the hill to Headwater Marina, or 15 min. drive to Baker Beach and/or local lakes. Choose from casual dining options just around the corner - the Grasshopper Pub and Liquor Store, Aqui Es Mexico, Mama's Sushi, and Java Docks Cafe. Fine dining options include the Painted Boat Restaurant, Ruby Lake Resort, West Coast Wilderness Lodge and the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. Enjoy your stay!

The house is on a septic system, please observe posted rules. Flush only toilet tissue and please no grease or coffee grounds in the sink drain.
Hot tub cycles on and off to maintain 102-104 F. Keep the cover on when not in use. Cover flips in 1/2 over the bar to window, pull to hang over bar
No smoking in the unit. Smoking is permitted on the deck, please use the ashtray provided to put out and dispose of cigarettes to avoid fire hazard.

Didn't see host. After brief power outage, a blue light on stove continued to blink for the rest of the days. TV program abruptly shut off. Telus issue I believe. try well equipped, but some of the furniture was dusty. Hot tub was great and covered deck worked well for us. Parking a little tight. No outdoor lights unless I missed the inside switch- no outside motion lights.

The suite is very comfortable and in a quiet area. It’s best if you have a car to get around. The owners of the property are awesome! Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Michelle was so helpful and kind after our plans changed with illness in the family. More than accomodating. The place was lovely and clean and we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. My only comment would be that the mattress on the murphy bed wasnt that comfortable and perhaps they would comsider replacing it or putting on a topper. Other than that it was perfect and we'd love to come again

Beautiful, spacious suite. Well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was excellent. Robes and slippers were a nice touch! Location great as well. Only downside was we didn't find the mattresses as comfortable and there was a bit of noise from above such as some barking. Overall though, a really great spot.

Great little spot on the Sunshine Coast

We spent three great days at this location. It was a great spot for our stay, allowing easy access to hiking, a boat excursion from Earl’s Cove and golf at Pender Harbour. The accommodations were perfect for us: a well-equipped kitchen, separate bedroom and living room and our own private hot tub. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We were very happy with this booking!

We had a wonderful 3 night getaway at this lovely unit in Madeira Park. The owner was great with their communication and were easy to get hold of. The unit had everything we needed from a full kitchen to the hot tub. We wanted a quiet escape from the chaos of our lives in the city and we got it! I was a great place to relax, slow down and reconnect. The views, the clean air. the calm and peaceful lifestyle in a lovely and modern suite. Sechelt was close enough that we could easily explore. The Thrift stores in particular were fun. Thank you for having us! We would happily stay here again the next time we visit the area.

A wonderful choice for staying on the Sunshine Coast!

The suite is incredibly clean and has everything you need stocked, from dishes to towels to oil. The hot tub was very clean, and the host was so accommodating and lovely!Although this property isn't great of you'd like to walk to destinations rather than drive, it's certainly one of the most quiet and calming places you can stay at. Plus, all beaches are a short drive away, so walking doesn't matter that much!

Great Stay!

My husband and I were visiting family in Maderia Park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located rental suite. It was important for us to be able to prepare our own meals as it can be challenging, in the off-season, to find places to eat. The kitchen is very well equipped and the furnishings are wonderfully comfortable. We hiked up Mount Daniel and could see the hot tub from the summit! It was heavenly relaxing to then see the mountain we hiked up, from that exact hot tub. Thank you to Michelle for a lovely stay. We look forward to returning again sometime!
