This delightful 150 m2 two-story property offers a comfortable and inviting space for your stay in this relaxing city. As you enter, you'll come across the sleeping area, which is composed of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom includes a comfortable king bed, multiple storage spaces, and a TV. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and a large wardrobe. Both bedrooms can access a lovely terrace with an incredible nature's view. The common bathroom has all the amenities you'll need to freshen up. Downstairs, there are open-plan living and kitchen areas. The living space features a lovely sitting area where guests can relax while watching TV after exploring the city. The kitchen provides a welcoming environment for socializing and enjoying meals together. It includes essential cookware, an oven, a cooking plate, a microwave, and a dining table ideally located to take advantage of the breathtaking view. There is also a service bathroom with a washing machine available. This floor is also surrounded by a beautiful exterior area, including a private garage and garden. Please, note that there is a security camera on the exterior site. Cleaning will be done before your anticipated arrival. Enjoy your stay! Guests will have access to the entire home! Porto da Cruz is a charming coastal village on the northeastern coast of Madeira, Portugal, known for its dramatic landscapes, rich history, and outdoor activities. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and lush mountains, it’s a paradise for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Hiking is one of the main attractions in Porto da Cruz, with several trails offering breathtaking views of the island’s rugged terrain. The Vereda do Larano trail is particularly popular, leading hikers along stunning coastal cliffs from Porto da Cruz to the neighboring village of Machico. For a more challenging hike, the Penha d’Águia trail offers a rewarding climb to one of Madeira’s most iconic peaks, providing panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and ocean. The village itself has a laid-back vibe, with several excellent restaurants serving traditional Madeiran cuisine. Don’t miss the chance to try espetada (grilled meat skewers) and lapas (limpets) at a local eatery, accompanied by a glass of poncha, a traditional Madeiran drink. The Restaurante Prazeres and Bar A Pipa are well-known spots where you can enjoy these local delicacies while taking in the stunning sea views. Porto da Cruz is also famous for its sugarcane rum distillery, Engenhos do Norte, where you can learn about the traditional rum-making process and taste the island’s famous aguardente. The village’s black sand beach, Praia da Alagoa, is perfect for a relaxing day by the sea, and the natural swimming pools offer a refreshing dip in the Atlantic. Transportation in Porto da Cruz is straightforward. The village is accessible by car from Funchal, the capital of Madeira, in about 30 minutes. Porto da Cruz offers a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and local charm, making it a must-visit destination in Madeira. The property is easily accessible by car, and it includes private parking in the garage. Madeira Airport is a 13-minute drive from the property. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
