"Stayed for one night and after reading some reviews I was panicking however I did not need too! The staff were lovely and helpful . The room was clean and comfy . Yes the furniture is dated however for the price it was more than worth it ! The only thing I could say is the heating was on full so it was boiling in the room ! I just put the fan on . Overall a cheap good night in Manchester 😊"

"Hotel was excellent clean rooms.was only there for 1 night with friends but the check in was very slow and confusing asked for late check out which was fine but getting charged £20 for it for an extra 1 hour was a little expensive and it got put through as 2 breakfasts when are booking came with breakfast included "

"Excellent stay at the Midland. Staff friendly and helpful. Cocktail bar is wonderful , spa worth a visit. Buffet breakfast good with poached eggs and omelettes made fresh. However space is very cramped and weekends must be a nightmare. Overall a good experience and woukd return. "

"A nice hotel with a beautiful spa and golf facilities. The rooms are in need of an update but all facilities in room were working well. Hot shower, dressing gown and slippers. Staff work hard. Thank you to the lady in the spa area who accomated me with a late spa booking and the purchase of a swimming costume. The breakfast and evening meal lovely. Young man on reception very attentive and nothing to much trouble. "
