This beautiful home has everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. The property features 4 total bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with plenty of room to sleep 12 guests. Breathtaking views from the 2 story dock, large mature trees, cedar arbor, out door movie screen, fire pit, and lots of backyard fun for everyone! The Space: Welcome to our luxury lakefront retreat! Step inside to the stunning living space which has a desirable open concept perfect for large groups allowing great entertainment and flow between the kitchen and living room. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, mounted TV, cozy seating, and wall of windows overlooking the backyard retreat and lake. There is a queen size pull out sofa that sleeps up to two guests (sleeps 2). The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream with beautiful quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, fully stocked cookware, dinnerware, serving-ware, bakeware, coffee bar, and kitchen appliances. Ample counter space for ideal catering and serving to guests. Find a seat at the large island, plenty of room for everyone! \*\*\*Complimentary starter supply of regular and decaf coffee, creamer, sweetener, a variety of cooking spices, salt, pepper, cooking spray, and cooking oil. \*\*\*We replace oils and spices as the run out. We do not guarantee fully stocked quantities. Bedroom 1: The bright and airy master suite has picturesque views of the stunning back yard. A beautiful king-size bed, large dresser, large mounted TV, mirror, and highly rated memory foam mattress and sheets await you. (sleeps 2). Bathroom 1: Spa-like ensuite bathroom to master suite has a large walk-in closet, separate shower, double sinks, and soaking tub. \*\*\*complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included. Bedroom 2: This gorgeous bedroom overlooks the the backyard and has a queen size bed suitable for up to two guests plus plenty of room for storage and mounted TV. (sleeps 2). Bedroom 3: This adorable bedroom has one set of bunk beds with a full size bed on the bottom bunk and a twin size bed on the top bunk and a twin size trundle making this an ideal setup for a kids bunkroom. (sleeps 4). Bedroom 4: This versatile bedroom features a full size bed and a private work-space with a corner desk. (sleeps 2). Bathroom 2: A lovely guest bathroom located off the hallway of the two secondary bedrooms has a quartz countertop, combo bathtub/shower, and ample cabinet space for storage. \*\*\*complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included. The rec room/garage is a fabulous attached bonus space with a ping pong table and darts. The backyard oasis features a covered patio, comfortable seating, rocking chairs for enjoying your morning cup of coffee, hot tub, arbor with swing perfect for days of relaxation and night time star gazing. Enjoy a movie under the stars featuring an outdoor movie screen and projector to stream your favorite movies, shows, and sports games (complimentary 2 packages of movie popcorn included). Stay in and cook with an outdoor gas BBQ grill (propane tank included) and fire pit with seating for roasting marshmallows (complimentary smore's kit and firewood included). The 2 story dock is tucked quietly inside a cove and has beautiful views of the open water. Plenty of backyard games including cornhole, bocce ball, and a volleyball net to keep guests busy for hours on end. Two kayaks, large floating lily pad mat and life jackets are available free of charge for guests to use. Length: 21'11" Engine: 60HP Mercruiser engine Color: Gray/Silver Seats: 12 passenger max The home is located within a short drive to Main Street in Gun Barrel City which provides quick access to restaurants, Starbucks, and nearby state parks. The Neighborhood: The house is located in a quiet neighborhood on Cedar Creek Lake a few miles from Gun Barrel City, Texas. The neighborhood is all single family homes. The homes are a mix of weekenders and full time residents. Getting Around: You can walk/bike around the neighborhood but would recommend a car if you wanted to go to shopping or out to eat. You are just a few miles from the main road with shopping, restaurants, attractions. You are about 10 minutes off highway 175 that runs from Dallas to Athens. You are about 30 minutes from Canton Trade Days!! Other Things to Note: Friendly pups are welcome (2 pet max). There is a $50 fee per pet charged separate. The hosts were very kind & helpful. We lost power one evening during a thunderstorm, & the hosts were quick to respond to my questions. The house had everything needed to cook our early Thanksgiving feast. My sister flew in from Florida for 2 nights & rented the house next door, which was perfect!! The drive was only about 75 mins from north dallas. House was updated and very nice. Located on a quiet cover of the lake. total of 4 bedrooms with 3 large beds (queens/kings) and one bunk room. Think you could comfortably sleep 8-9\. Kitchen/den/dining room were nice. Garage with ping pong table and darts and laundry room as well. Outdoor area is nice as well with seating for 6, bbq grill. further down the lawn is a seating area for 5 and fire pit. Firewood on side yard and fire starters in garage. Very nice dock with 2 levels, upper with table /chairs. One of the best features is you can rent a boat or jet skis and they will be delivered to the house for use. Communication with the rental team was excellent and any questions/issues we had were dealt with quickly. Overall very nice place. ##### Austin S. The house was stocked better than any other home we’ve ever rented. The home was very new and the property managers were great. Renting a pontoon was a must, it was so much. Some things to keep in consideration is that this property has another property right next door that seems to also be a rental with no fence dividing the two. Our neighbors were nice and friendly so no issues here but good to keep in mind while booking. Second, the lake level was about 3ft deep from the dock. Not sure if this is how it always is or just due to being summer and lack of rain. Because of this, we didn’t spend much time on the water but rather in the hot tub! This property is stocked with plates, utensils and cups so cooking and using the grill our was super easy and convenient! ##### Gabriel H. The bedroom arrangements fit our needs perfectly. We enjoyed the ping pong table and outdoor games in the garage. Things I wish were different: Needs large skillet in the kitchen(2 are provided but both very small when cooking for a family). Several of the pans and dishes we pulled out to use were filthy and needed washing before use (not washed before put up). The spider webs around the back porch and especially the dock were consuming. We had to use a broom and clean the porch and dock before use. The lake level was low around the dock (property owners cant control this I realize- I wish I would have asked about this prior) The water is 3-4 feet deep and unpleasantly warm compared to deeper water. I know we live in Texas and have excessive heat (things out of our control) but for our age of children (17-24) the water level and temperature of the water made the dock unattractive to us versus docks in deeper parts of the lake. Again, I should have asked about this prior to reserving. The yard was large and worked well for our family. I would stay here again if I knew the water level was higher. I was a little confused when we entered bedroom 2\. I really expected to see double beds since it says double in features for bedroom 2\. It was no biggie because living room sofa was a sofa bed and we made it work. Darker curtains wouldn't be so bad to keep light out in mornings. The most important part was that this is such a beautiful house with enough space to fit a family of 12 and more. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Gorgeous deck and patio. We loved the spooky feeling we felt in the front yard, we gave the teens a little scare , which was enjoying because till this day they haven't stopped talking about it. We are planning on coming back in Oct for some Halloween spook. Love that the kid's bedroom had some entertaining games for us all. We didn't get to use the firepit since it rained the weekend we went. Hot tub was superb while it lasted. Hot water didn't last too long but it was fine since it was almost time to head inside. I hope next time we get to stay the whole weekend. Due to a family emergency we had to leave early. Overall, this stay was such an amazing experience. Thank you. ##### Melissa G. There’s no fence on either side so you are seen by all of the neighbors and anyone can walk off the street and come in the backyard while you are in the hot tub. We chose this property for our annual ladies getaway and were so glad we did! Everything was great and the little touches like firewood for the pit, s'more supplies and more really made a great first impression. The hot tubs definitely came in handy after a day of shopping in Canton. We all agreed that if available we will definitely book again next year. I loved that each bathroom had great shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were several 'toys' for adults and kids, ping pong table, darts as well as a inflatable water slide. Now outside, its Texas and super hot right now. Everything is dying and lakes are down. I will say I did not pay attention to this and was disappointed that we could not use the boat dock to swim off of or dock our rental boat. This was mentioned on the site and an email was sent out. (I however missed both, shame on me) But, our family definitely made lemonade with the lemons. The water was down in the cove however we were able to use the private community dock just a few houses down. (there is a key) We were able to get our rental boat into the cove and walked out to load the boat. If you have your own boat you can definitely launch it at a near by park and bring it into the cove or load it at the park. Kate the property manager was awesome!!! She called me back immediately when I texted and answered all my questions promptly during the stay. Overall wonderful place. I can't wait to rent from here again when the lake comes back up. ##### Stephanie D. It's in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. The house is modern and beautifully decorated. The bunkroom was perfect for 4 kids to sleep (there's a single trundle bed under the full). It had other amenities for the kids such as ping pong table (in garage) and some board games. We didn't use the outdoor fire pit or projector since it's hot as Hades in July, but it would be fun on cooler temperature nights. The only downside was the lake level. If you are hoping to rent the boat or swim off the dock, call before you book to assess the water level. It was too low to take the boat out or swim but we were able to get the kayaks down the ladder and pull them to the water (3 -4 ft away). Luckily Tom Finley park was about 10 minutes away.
