Room is too small
I think the whole problem was perhaps due to a wrong expectation. The online rating and the limited photos gave me an impression this is really a good place. The location is indeed super, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the single room is extremely disappointing and even awkward. It is almost the smallest room that I have ever stayed in. The bathroom is far too narrow. There is no chair, only a stool. No table. Only a small cabin which has a small fridge inside. The window is not tight and not sound proof. The wall is thin and the bed is too narrow and I have to be very careful not to fall. I will surely not go back to stay in this place.

Trip to see Andre Rieu concert.
Wonderful family run hotel. Very well situated and very comfortable. The family were very helpful and friendly We stayed there to go to the Andre Rieu concert and it is an ideal base. Maastricht is easy to get to by train or bus.

Convenient hotel to restaurants and centre bars. A bit difficult to access my room- down the hall, three steps down, further down the gall, then four steps up, etc- a pain with bags! Breakfast was good; bathroom and shower tight for space.

Clean room and great location. Breakfast very good. Rooms are small. Only complaint, room was very warm in April, with a super thick comforter and no air conditioning. Did not sleep well. Would not want to stay in summer heat.

Almost Hidden Gem
A comfortable, quiet, secure, family run hotel in the old town and in a short walk to everything you want to do in shopping, dining and touring. Rates are very reasonable, the breakfast buffet is marvelous and parking is available a short stroll away for a reasonable rate. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are the owners so you can't go wrong! We not only would stay here again, we want to stay here again!!!

family hotel in country town
pleasant hotel, easy to find on incredibly quiet street. Right in the centre of Valkenburg, above the numerous restauarants that line the streets. HOtel is run by a family, who care about small details and were helpful and efficient. The room was also pleasant, if not a luxury. Bed extremely comfortable, Bathroom a little small. Nothing to prevent me recommending this hotel.

Lovely family run hotel
The 15-min walk from the train station to the hotel with our luggage was not bad. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is awesome in a cozy restaurant environment. The hotel is very close to the main streets where restaurants are everywhere and yet it's away from the noise. Walking distance to the castle ruins, the caves, and we even walked to MergelRijk. Our room was small but clean. The previous guests might have used the water boiler to boil milk that still stuck on the bottom and couldn't be used but the cleaning lady helped cleaned it. The hotel also has a small elevator which helps us a lot with our luggage.

The location of the hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of the old town. Where you can walk around and enjoy the evening after a long journey. Service is great, but don't compare it with other big names in big cities. This is the style you would like to see and enjoy when you just want some relax.

Nice, convenient, well located hotel in Valkenburg
location, location, location! The hotel is right in the old town of Valkenburg, wonderful. The hotel is a keeper. No parking, although close enough there is public parking for a decent fee. However, you have to put in cash to stay legally parking. Great breakfast, nice clean, but small room. Coffee maker, convenient. No queen size beds, just the separate, typical Dutch twin beds. Hm ... Nice people, good service, English spoken.

Well run family hotel
This is an excellent hotel. It is clean, nicely decorated and close to the centre of Valkenburg. Very convenient for the Christmas markets. A good breakfast is included and bar prices are reasonable

Leuk familie hotel mooie kamers👍 Alleen jammer er staat op de site dat er een bar is maar niet dat deze in de avond dicht is dus bij de buren ons laatste drankje moeten halen en dus niet op mijn sokken naar mijn kamer.

Fijn en goed hotel met een heerlijk ontbijt
Een gewedig hotel en voorzien van alle gemakken, tevens een zeer goed ontbijt. Fijne bedden en royale kamer met ramen die ook open konden Goeie locatie, 1 min van de populaire cafe en restaurant straat Miste alleen de airco, maar er stond wel een ventilator ter beschikking. Zeker de moeite waard om terug te komen

voor 1 nacht beoordelen is wel moeilijk , maar de kamers waren zo netjes en ik kon koffie maken, het ontbijt was werkelijk super, er was enorm veel te kiezen en keurig verzorgt!! bediening was prima!!

Een gezellig hotel met een lekker ontbijt, grote kamer ( kamer nr 1), ideaal centraal gelegen, ( betaalde )parkeermogelijkheden vlak bij. Alleen de badkamer en zeker de wc zijn wat klein.

Leuk hotel, vriendelijk personeel, lekker uitgebreid ontbijt, miste wel een airco en een koelkastje, het was namelijk 35 graden. En vond de badkamer bijzonder hoge opstap.

Soweit Okay, Altstadt und Valkenburg ganz nah
Gutes Bett, altes Zimmer, aber soweit sauber, Bad etwas eng aber relativ neu. Parken beim Nachbarhotel (2min Fußweg) für 8.50 Euro. Viele Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Soweit gutes Frühstück. Für eine Nacht vollkommen Okay.

Heel net hotel 2e jaar daar we hier komen. Dit jaar was de kamer echt veel te klein douchen was een probleem ivm veel te weinig ruimte echt heel jammer. Simpele kamer voor bijna 100 euro per nacht. Helaas niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar. Midden in de nacht werd er aan de riolering gewerkt 3 uur lang. (Kan het hotel niks aan doen maar wel wakker van gelegen)

Heerlijk hotel in het centrum van Valkenburg
Fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel. De slaapkamer met badkamer zagen er netjes uit. De bedden lagen heerlijk, we hebben goed geslapen. Het ontbijt was ook goed. Wij zijn zeer tevreden en komen zeker nog een keer terug.
