Friendly staff, good position. Adequate room, but third floor with no lift could be an issue for the less able. En-suite had a WC with macerator, which had an in pleasant smell. Breakfast was good. Although advertised with parking, this has to be pre-booked and was full when we arrived. There is a public car park nearby which was 16€.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic, with no amenities (tea/coffee machine, bedside shelves or cupboards. There was a constant noise from hot water pipes. There was no sound insulation from upstairs or outside

Couldn't get shower to work, complained and was told manager would check it. Was told he had but still Couldn't get it to work. Found a cleaner who made it work, just a switch which was very stiff but manager hsd clearly NOT checked it. Central location but not good for light sleepers as noisy area. Facilities ok but not what i would expect for the money €100 per night. Staff friendly

Great value for money
Room and bed were clean and nice, nothing special - in a good way. Staff was extremely friendly. Central location near market was useful for me but others might find it too noisy due to nightlife present at this location in town. All but one of the rooms on first and second floor so lack of lift didn't bother me but might be noteworthy for others. All together great value for the price I paid.

Great accommodating staff and cool clean artsy hotel. Perfect location. Best deal in town. Nice breakfast too. Enjoyed sitting outside at night and watching the rain. And enjoyed the gothic bookstore two blocks away.

The bar and staff were excellent The room was small and it was a bit inconvenient not having the bathroom in the room. A hairdryer would have been good unfortunately I didn’t realise when I booked that there was no elevator. Also there is a lot of noise from the street

Centered in the most lively area of Maastricht. Though it is noisy during the weekend nights, you might be in your room yet feel the coziness outside as well. Caring Staff and warm attention makes the experience excellent.

5 minutes to concert venue
This is a small hotel, does not have a lift and therefore not suitable for disabled visitors. The hotel is situated on a tree lined avenue, next to the market square. It's about a 15 minute walk from the railway station, but there is a bus stop outside and the staff can advise you on which bus to catch. It's a 5 minute walk to the shops and the Andre Rieu concert venue. The rooms are above cocktail bar, but you do not hear anything as the fire door deadening the sound. I had a shared bathroom and toilet but this did not cause any problem. The room was large with a wash basin. The staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. Breakfast was the usual continental style but the coffee was made to order and was the best that I had in Maastricht.

The hotel location is excellent to go everywhere by walking. The hotel staffs are nice, especially, when I could not find a taxi due to the special marathon race in town, one of the staffs kindly took me to the train station by car. The room is small, but it’s ok for price. I recommend this place if you are looking for the best location and nice staff:)

A nice hotel with some drawbacks
The hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of Maastricht. Hotel Beez is also a bar so I was worried that I would be kept up by music etc. Fortunately, however, my room was on the other side of the building, which meant I could barely hear the noise. There was some confusion about whether I was booked in but, except from that, the staff were friendly enough. The room that I was given was neat and quirky. The biggest drawback about the hotel is that it is necessary (at least with certain rooms) to share a toilet and shower with other guests. But, if you are happy to do that, then I would recommend this hotel as a pleasant stay.

Perfect location for all you want to experience
Four of us recently returned from Maastricht, having stayed at Hotel Beez. Since we were gone all day exploring the city, we found the rooms quite sufficient and the price was right. A wonderful Dutch breakfast and barista service is included with the cost of the room. The manager and staff were very accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. If you want a real treat, look for Esther who was a gem of a hostess—fun to talk to, very nice, super friendly, and always sent us on our day with a smile! Whatever you need, she’ll treat you right!

When we booked this place I didn't realise how centrally located it was - it is a small hotel, there's a kinda 'family feel' to it - it is not a luxury hotel but what it lacks from luxury it more than makes up in friendliness and the feel of 'home away from home'. My daughter & I really loved it, the room was bright and well arranged, the breakfast was brill, the staff really friendly and helpful, we felt welcome & cared for :-)

A Place to Stay In Maastricht
A very friendly establishment in the heart of Maastricht. If you depend so much on a lift with your baggages this is not the place for you. But if you want a place to stay and spend a day or two in Maastricht I recommend this place. Cozy room and very close to the plaza. All bus lines go by this hotel so wherever you are you can get here from any bus lines. The stop is just a few steps from the hotel. Enjoy the local market produce in front of the hotel on weekends. Just a walking distance to Andre Rieu's 2017 Summer Concert.

Quick review
I'll keep to the main points, area its in is nice and central, shared bathrooms are not a major issue but nothing amazing, room is small but cozy. Staff is friendly and all speak English to an extent. I had a fire alarm go off at 4am but besides that if you don't mind the shared bathrooms I would recommend as for the price in maastricht it's hard to find anything much better.

Nice Place
The Beez is Maastricht's oldest hotel. It has new owners and it is being modernised beautifully. Great location but I was a little too tall for my room. But I was in the rafters. The other rooms are normal height. The staff are so kind and helpful and fun.
