« Great location for a visit to Lassen Park. Lovely view of the woods and stars and conveniently located off the main highway and within easy driving distance to Chester for groceries and restaurants. We loved the covered porch and grill and the adorable birds nests. The baby birds were super cute. »

« Check in was simple. We loved that the kitchen cabinets and drawers were labeled making it easy to find kitchen items. Had a group of deer come through the yard with two fawns. Was nice to watch them. »

« We had a wonderful stay in the house which is in a very quiet place. House is comfortable, very well equipped and the master bedroom is awesome with large windows, you have the feeling to be in the trees. Outdoor is very nice too to appreciate the evenings. It’s only 20’ from Lassen Volcanic NP which is a great place to visit for several days: hiking Lassen peak with a top view, swimming in summit lake, visiting the small but well done museum, take good time at manzanita lake, etc… we stayed...

« My friend and I each had our own room at the B and B while our group of 10+ friends camped at Manzanita Lake. It worked out great. Our hosts were attentive and experienced and helpful and fun to stay with. Would definitely go back! »

« Easy 15 minute drive to the Northwest entrance of Lassen. Kitchen was well appointed. Bedrooms very comfortable. Colorful neighborhood. Nice living room to relax in. Could not get wall furnace to work, but we did not need it much as there were a few space heaters. »

« We stayed here for a couple of nights to explore Lassen and the surrounding area. The place was lovely: charming, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was very communicative and responsive. An additional perk was that we got to see a deer and her fawns close up on the property a couple of times. Would definitely recommend! »

We were so close to Lassen and went over for a day on Lake Almanor! The house was exactly as advertised and had lots of fun extras like supplies for s’mores and hot chocolate! « The house had a nice kitchen and living space and the bedrooms were big. The problem was there was no A/C. They did have a swamp cooler which worked nicely in the downstairs but the upstairs bedrooms were hot and stuffy even with windows open and fans blowing. The master bathroom had a window pointing directly at the neighbors house and the window was not adequately covered so we never used the shower and bathtub in that room.. »
