Excellent place to stay. It’s right next to the bus station and the downtown area of Lyon, the facility is nice and clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful, and the price is reasonable. Will definitely come again

This hotel was recently renovated about 5 years ago and the interior is modern and more importantly clean with good upkeep. They have a breakfast and need 24 hour notice. The staff was very helpful except for the blonde girl. She was cold to us. Did not give us helpful answers to my questions--she clearly didn't want to help us. She was charming on the phone but cold to us--true colors revealed. Other than that, you should definitely consider staying here. No other detractions.

The hotel is located in a lively area with plenty of shops, restaurants, and transportation options. The room was clean and the breakfast was plentiful. The only criticism I have is the front desk staff, but it may be because the hotel we stayed at in Paris had an exceptionally attentive and caring staff. In comparison, the Hotel des Remparts staff was very ordinary and inattentive.

Convenient hotel for coach station and old town
A short overnight stay before catching a coach to Barcelona. The hotel was very convenient for the coach station - just 5 minutes away. Quiet location. Clean single room, with a comfortable bed. Short walk to the old town, for those staying longer.
