« My husband and I stayed four nights at Leah’s place. She and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very, very nice people. :) Great location if you want something quiet with beautiful view over the mountain. it’s very close to Island Pond and also to Silvio Conte wildlife refuge. « This was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it. We had a nice fire in the evening, grilled some burgers, and showed off our horrible boating skills (honestly it was fun to just row in circles and laugh, but the river is calm and has lovely views). It is easy to drive to the market for anything you need or other small towns for a day trip. We had minor issues with outside lights but it made it more fun to see things by firelight and fireflies. Thank you! »

« Beautiful quiet and peaceful area, me and my daughter enjoyed a mini getaway to Faraway Pond. The adorable cottage had all the amenities needed and we loved the scenic view of the pond and the kayaks. Got some awesome sunset pictures! Mary was super responsive and thoughtful. « Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. We were not in the town but 20 mn walk from it. The town made me feel I was in a hallmark movie . The back view of the house was so relaxing. The kitchen was very large and the house was very comfortable. There is no AC in the house which we knew, but the fans were useful during the day and made it cool enough for early august. The nights were perfect. »

Good all weather tires were needed to access with snow on the roads getting to the cabin. Also we found no AT&T cell service at the cabin but good WiFi once inside.
