There were a lot of migrant workers staying at this hotel. It was next to the highway where all of the big trucks were using their jake brakes. We had trouble sleeping here.

Our room was not clean when we got in. There was a dirty, used Q-tip in the corner of the room. And there was hair left in the bathtub and wall. Toilet doesn’t flush well. And walls are thin. We could hear other dogs barking. Oh and the door doesn’t automatically close behind you so you have to make sure it’s closed. Curtains also don’t close all the way so there’s a hair clip to close the tiny gal.

I was really nervous about traveling alone with my toddler, but the hotel was in good shape and felt very safe and secure. The staff that I encountered was friendly and the location could not have been more convenient. This is where I’ll stay next time I’m in Roanoke.

We stayed for one night while driving home from our road trip. Our room was very clean, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty decent, hot and cold options. Great deal for the price we paid. We would definitely stay here again.

The tv remote didn’t work. There were people running around during the night right outside our door being very loud. I’m also curious as to why there were no bedspreads with any thickness to them on the beds. It was still cold outside. It is convenient (right off I-81) if you have a dog.

I was placed in a room that had broken fixtures and looked visibly dirty around the room. Being a women alone i was placed in an outside room and that terrified me. I placed a table infront of the door because i didnt feel like the lock was sturdy enough. The cable tv kept going out. The window covering barely covered the window and anyone walking by could potentially look in at me. The only reason i didnt leave was because i had already paid through expedia. I would not recommend this location to anyone and have told friends if they pass through to not use this location at all.

From the start the lady at the desk was rude! We got up to the room (after driving 16 hours) we tried to turn on the heat and it made an awful clicking noise, it took forever to heat up, then the t.v. did not work, we tried the hot water just in case because we knew we wanted a hot shower, that took forever to heat up! The phone said dial 0 for the desk haha that didn't work either so we had to walk all the way back to the desk just for her to be rude and all we wanted was heat, hot shower and to relax! We had to go through all that! She decided to tell us maintenance had to confirm these issues before changing our room! We were so upset! The maintenance guy came up after 10 min, he was not properly dressed but definitely had more manners then the front desk lady! He heard the heat and tried to call the front desk from the room phone I had to say "that doesn't work we had to walk to the desk" so he used his cell and first thing he said " please change their room the heater is so loud with a clicking coming from it" then started to work on the t.v. We had to wait about 45 min to an hour for all of this just to get to relax for the night!

Rating this hotel as a $70 a night hotel. It’s not the Ritz, it’s a nice inexpensive place to spend the night, directly off the interstate, friendly staff, and you can grab a cup off coffee and piece of fruit on them on your way out.

Check in was quick. I can’t say they were overly friendly. This facility is dated. Looks like they put the bare minimum into it. Chair in room had big white stain on it. The room bathroom side of the room was cold no matter how high I turned the heat up. Breakfast was very limited.
