"The host was readily available and answered texts promptly. She even gave me a personal demonstration on how to lock and unlock the door. The apartment is gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. All my needs were met. The view from the windows is serene and I enjoyed watching the sailboats and ferries. The walk along the promenade was flat with plenty benches to sit and enjoy people watching, along with the view. I did have several rainy days but proper outerwear solves that. The only concern I had was that I didn’t realize how many hills are in Gourock, including where the house is located. So, if you are without a car, as I was, be sure to use Barrhill Rd, and do not chance walking up Hillside from the bus stop! Also, the apartment is not handicap accessible as there is a fairly steep sidewalk and multiple steps."

"We stayed at this property for a week the main person in charge Alex he was so helpful always on hand if we needed anything there was an incident which was resolved instantly it was a well looked after and more then worth the cost to stay the room was clean and tidy fresh bedding and towels any time we needed the property was well maintained and cleaned every day I will be staying here every time I visit Scotland and will be visiting again very soon with family and friends it truly was a pleasure staying at this hostel one of the nicest hostels iv ever stayed in and I travel a lot it’s close to a cinema swimming baths town is a 5~10 minute walk Lidl is literally across the road the police station is just as close and it’s on the sea front who doesn’t want a nice evening stroll along the coast line beautiful surroundings"

"Came back to this flat for second time as it had everything you need. There’s been a few changes made to it ie. new walk in shower which I think makes it more adult friendly. The stairs when you walk in the close are a bit tired and daunting to take suitcases up but still manageable. I had a chat with a couple of the neighbours and they’re really friendly. The location is perfect. All in all I’d stay here no problem again in the future as my wife and I really enjoyed our stay again."
