"Nice environment, can see a bit of sunrise
Nice staff but English not good, a bit hard to communicate.
No wifi in the resort.
Water heater not hot enough, better service.
Should prepare slippers in the resort.
Recommend to stay in 'summer' but not 'winter'

"I've stayed at the Ozone before and it's in a quiet location with ample parking, situated only a km from the park entrance which is why i choose it. There are lots of restaurants nearby including a Laos food venue. The staff are friendly and helpful although those on reception when I checked in spoke no English. However, Google Translate is brilliant so language isn't really a problem any more. It's somewhere around a 3 star hotel...because the thing that lets it down, at least for me, is the...
"Amazing staff and very clean Hostel.
I rented a scooter from them, and could leave my luggage there, while I was in Khao Yai National Park.
Only downside is the street noise, which depends on the room you get. "
"Motel has aged since the photos. Rooms were pretty basic but clean. Off the beaten path so there was not a lot around. We walked 15 minutes to 7-11 and that was our dinner. "

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute Luxury and Tranquility – A Must-Stay in Khao Yai
Rancho Charnvee Resort & Country Club exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The resort is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty.
Our room was spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views over the lush golf course and surrounding countryside. The golf course itself is world-class, immaculately groomed and a joy to play for both beginners and seasoned players.
The on-site dining was top-notch — delicious Thai and international cuisine, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pool area and leisure facilities were equally impressive, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment.
Whether you’re visiting for golf, a romantic getaway, or just to unwind in a serene setting, Rancho Charnvee delivers on every front. A truly unforgettable experience — we can’t wait to return!"
"Movenpick Resort is a beautiful well looked after resort with all the conveniences one would love. The surrounds, lawns and gardens are impeccable, the furniture is beautiful, and the restaurant serves incredibly lovely choice of food for breakfast. The main swimming pool is fantastically designed and the villas where we stayed are marvellous. We had our own swimming pool in our villa and it was well kept and very clean and safe. The staff are magnificent, all of them, from reception, to the management, to the valets, to the restaurant staff and chefs, gardeners and cleaners. The management staff looked after us, especially Ming (from Nang Rong) who made it very special for us when we needed some assistance. All the staff have the friendly Thai Smile, and cheerful happy faces, and all showed they valued us. It was wonderful and we would definitely love to stay again and enjoy the beauty of Movenpick Resort in Khao Yai. It is a great place to stay for a visit to Khao Yai National Park, but also the beauty of Thailand."

There are lots of restaurants nearby including a Laos food venue. The staff are friendly and helpful although those on reception when I checked in spoke no English. However, Google Translate is brilliant so language isn't really a problem any more. It's somewhere around a 3 star hotel...because the thing that lets it down, at least for me, is the breakfast. Most days I chose to take a breakfast box into the park because the restaurant doesn't open until 7am which is no good if you're a wildlife photographer like me who has an early start each day. On the day i left I had a 'normal' breakfast which wasnt worth the trouble. An omelette and toast and marmalade plus insipid tea. The sausage snd ham are 'plastic' as they are in most of Thailand. The staff just sat behind the counter watching television or listening to a radio. No customer service at all. So in summary. It's a nice place to sleep and to be close to the park, the reception staff are great....but the restaurant and staff let them down badly. I ate out so it wasn't a problem. It's not uncommon in Thailand either...western food is misunderstood and is generally ignored by many 2-3 star hotels. I'd stay again, despite the breakfast..."
"Lovely oasis in busy Pak Chong. Wonderful staff and owner! We had the beige duplex toward the back of it, I would recommend a river front room if it’s available. Much nicer outside space than we had, and view.
There is a major highway construction project going on behind it, we only heard it occasionally, but just know that going in. Nothing these sweet people can do about it. They’ve created a little oasis on the river, there are pretty trees and landscaping, also it comes with a great buffet breakfast. I recommend a car, taxi service is almost impossible in Pak Chong. There are food stalls, restaurants pretty close by, but the walk from this hotel is not pleasant. It’s along a busy dirt road filled with highway construction trucks etc.
They offer a delicious hot pot meal on the weekends overlooking the river.
The only negative for us was not having a nice outside space, and the beautiful macaws, green parrots and Lorakeets all in small cages. They played this whistling song of somewhere over the rainbow and it was quite odd and depressing for us and the birds. I’d rather see them in the wild!
We loved the staff!!!!"
