Staff: The main reason why you should not choose this hotel is the main guy (I don't want to name and shame him). The minute I checked in, he asked about the rest of my schedule which was to travel to Kathmandu by bus the day after. He insisted that I book seat in a bus called 'Saleena' as he claimed that was the only bus available in that sector. I was doubtful hence I decided to investigate. I wasted a lot of time trying to connect to the internet, I called up my family back in India to check. In the morning, I walked over to the main street and found a travel agent who actually gave me 3 options to choose from. When I returned to the hotel, this guy insisted that I pay for the ticket on Saleena as well since he had booked it on my behalf! He even refused to call me a taxi to take me to the bus stop next morning.
The place is quite isolated and he made sure to cause as much discomfort as possible.
Location: Unless you have a car or you are ready to walk, this location is not convenient. There are many other hotels and lodges just at a stone's throw near the main Monastic area.
Facilities: The hotel does not provide anything decent except towels and toilet paper.
Cleanliness: The toilets were surprisingly clean. However, the carpet/rug in the room had never been cleaned.
Dining: There is only a small dining room in which you need to place your order in advance. The taste of food is average.
Internet: No internet was available in the room.
Pros: Nothing. The whole experience was disappointing. The greenery is probably good for nature lovers.
Cons: Please train your staff not to lie and deceive customers. Add some toiletries. You are charging enough money.
Location: Location is 3kms from the main Monastic area. It is best to walk to the main street and hire a cycle or rickshaw to take you around during the day.
