Those after mountain adventures can head to the Funicolare Cassarate (a 20-minute walk) for Monte Brè. For culture, visitors can head to MASI, the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland, which hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions and (LAC) Lugano Arte e Cultura, a new centre dedicated to music, visual and performing arts (both a 9-minute drive).
