The building is somewhat run-down and undergoing construction. It is right in the heart of town with shops, hardware store, gas station & restaurants just steps away. It was clean, spacious and toasty warm in the cold weather of December. We were pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked it was with dishes, pots & pans, cooking utensils and even dish soap and some cooking spices. The only drawback was that the washer & dryer were not located in the condo. They were just down the hall and required quarters to pay for each load, but it we were able to get quarters at the bank across the street. I would highly recommend this place. ##### Molly B S. It's a simple walk out to the restaurants & bars in the little village of Ludlow, which was delightful. The beds left something to be desired, as did the pillows--not something I would gripe about usually, but for $300/night it seems to me that decent pillows are in order (if not comfortable mattresses). There were a few broken items in the condo--a lamp, a wall plug, a terrifically sticky pull-out sofabed with...You guessed it!...a thin mattress--but as long as none of that matters & all you're looking for is a cozy spot close by the mountain, then this is the place for you. Oh, & there was a chocolate birthday cake left behind by the previous renters (I assume) along with a kid's drawing.
