This nearly original, historic cottage has been described as "A Rustic Wooden Tent" by some and as "Shabby Chic" by others. If you love nature and the minimalistic beauty of life this is the camp for you. This eclectic, creek side camp has natural waterway access to lower herring lake and lake Michigan. Get ready to enjoy epic Walleye, Brook, Brown, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) and possibly Coho Salmon fishing. Don't forget about the biking, hiking, lounging, and relaxing with nature. There is conservancy land, and a public boat launch a stones throw away. There are plenty of sleeping options, but my favorite was the sleeping porch in the back. Although we did not have the chance to use them, the kayaks were a welcome surprise, and the fire pit is the perfect place for a good conversation before heading to bed.
