Wonderful Staff

Pros: All good.
Cons: Nothing in particular stands out.
Location: Close to town and all activities.
instead of staying 1 day we extended and stayed 3 days. All staff were friendly and helpfull. One in particular at the desk on sat and sun. was particularly so. ( so sorry i can't recall her name).

Found cockroaches in our room also neighbors

Bed was comfortable but the people next to us and we found cockroaches in our room. Hotel said once you check in no refunds will be given. I beg to differ. We were given our last nights stay back but the other people were not so lucky. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is so great, that we looked for another Best Western on our return! Lots of details that made our stay comfortable that I don't see elsewhere. Staff so nice, pillows comfy, new clean showers, felt clean inside hotel, great breakfast! I would give this BW a 5 star, hope the survey reflects that!!!

One-night getaway

Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: Sleeping pillow were on the hard side. Provide lotion and conditioner.
Upon on our arrival we were forced to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs because there was no available elevator and then when we finally made it to our room, we were greeted by the smell of smoke. It appeared as if the staff had tried to air the room out before our arrival because the air conditioner was running full blast and the window was open. Then on top of all that there was a baby screaming in the room next door and so we were compelled to ask for a different room. The pillows were small and hard and the beds were uncomfortable. One small bottle of shampoo and two bars of soap were provided but there was no lotion or conditioner. However, the continental breakfast was by far the best we have had. There was a variety of options provided and the meal was satisfactory.

Where to start? My window had no screen, I had to wash my bathroom floor because our feet literally stuck to it when we first got in the room, the TV guide didn't work, the walls were paper thin (I could hear entire conversations and a baby crying all night from next door), and the Internet was dial up quality. I talked to 3 people that worked there my entire stay, and at least they end up in the 2 out of three with competency and friendliness. I'll not be back.

If your looking for a place for the kids this is it. They have an arcade, ping pong table and pool table. The indoor pool is a bit heavy on the chlorine but I guess that's a good thing. They have adult swim from 10-11pm. The breakfast is pretty good as well. Close to the beach and downtown area.

a/c not working

Cons: The clerks attitude, This experience has made me think you have to make a scene in order to get some help with your issues.
On July 11,2016 I arrived at 5 thirty. When I entered the room I could tell the a/c was not working right. I call the desk and they said they would have it checked out the next day. The night was not pleasant, I kept waking up sweating and trying to get back to sleep. Then next afternoon the maintenance man came and looked it over and said the unit was to old for digital upgrade. So, I thought the hotel manager would be coming to talk to me or call about what they would do for me, No-one came. I was in and out of the hotel . When I got back for the night ,I went to the desk to see what they could do for me. The clerk said that because I booked the room on line, there was nothing she could do.If, I booked the room thru their web site they could have given me another room or gave me a discount on the room. I was over whelmed and asked if they had a fan that they could let me use. The clerk said yes and would bring it to my room. I still could not believe that they would not do anything for me. Maybe because I was nice and did not make a scene. I will not stay at this hotel ever again.

Really clean hotel with a great free breakfast! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
