The house is subdivided into 3 apartments which are not internally connected but are rented altogether only as a single rental. The largest apartment has a large living area (lounge, dining area and kitchen) which can accommodated all guests together at the same time. The location of this villa allows guests to easily visit central Italy’s major cities of art such as Arezzo, Siena, Florence, Cortona and areas such as Chianti, the Val d’Orcia and Maremma. Available to guests: private swimming pool (12 x 6 m - depth 1.5 m), private and furnished garden, barbecue area, outdoor area complete with table and chairs for dining. The building has Wi-Fi internet, a ping-pong table, pool table and foosball table as well as a room with a washing machine. Children’s cot and highchair are available. The house accommodated all 13 of us, 6 adults and 7 children. The house is rustic so has character but it lacks certain things to make a holiday more comfortable, such as cushions outside on any of the chairs. Inside, there was no kettle, a very small toaster, a lack of bowls, only huge pans, and not many bowls. The bedrooms were spacious but no fans so very hot to sleep. The apartment with one double bed in has air con but that is it. The area was great and we visited Montepulciano and Cortona as well as Lucignano. The people who met us were very friendly and only spoke Italian, but we got by! We got lost trying to find it with the directions given so typed in Villa Mario into google maps and found it that way. ##### Charlotte B. Aug 20, 2020 #### Review for stay from 08 August 2020 to 15 August 2020 Abbiamo soggiornato a Villa Mario dal 8 al 15 agosto,siamo appena tornati e fosse stato per noi non ce ne saremmo andati.Il nostro gruppo era composto da famiglie con bambini i quali si sono divertiti moltissimo. Giardino molto curato e piscina bellissima,molto catino il chioschetto a bordo piscina che noi utilizzavamo per la musica. Il casale è molto bello e fornito ,la cucina è attrezzata per gruppi quindi non bisogna portare nulla . Il proprietario è molto disponibile e gentile. Besonders der Außenbereich war ein Traum! Obwohl die Übergabe der Schlüssel ausschließlich auf Italienisch stattfand (was wir leider nicht sprechen konnten), lief die Übergabe reibungslos. Oct 2, 2018 #### Parfait s'il n'y avait pas à quelques centaines de mètres des chiens qui hurlent toute la nuit Belle maison grandes chambres indépendance des couples piscine agréable. Manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine . Gros point noir les chiens de la villa se trouvant à quelque centaine de mètre qui ne font que hurler une partie de la nuit et tôt le matin. Sep 19, 2018 #### great pool ,nice family villa we stayed here for a week in August 2018 with 2 other families,the layout was ideal as we had 3 bedrooms on the ground floor ,and our friends had the first floor and the top floor in the smaller part of the villa,the space outside was great for meeting up at breakfast and dinner time,most of the day was spent around the pool ,and everyone enjoyed playing for hours,the sunbeds could do with updating as there was only 10 of them and not very comfy ,but apart from that we had a great time at a great location ,pool was nice and clean and the beds were really comfy ,and for me thats 6 foot 6 it was a nice change to get up in the morning without any back ache from a strange bed ,overall the villa is a typical nice Italian place to stay and works well with a large group ,everyone said they enjoyed their stay ,so happy days ##### david h.
