The location of the hotel is perfect and there’s so much to do and see in Luzern. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant with excellent service and food. All staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. It is also a short walk from the train station. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, simple but tasty and the coffee was amazing. There is no AC but it was explained to us that it is not allowed to install it in a historic building. We opened the windows at night and there was a ceiling fan. There is a restaurant onsite and one next door and you get a 10% discount if you eat at those places. The employees were quite courteous and the restaurant food was good. However, the room was also quite cramped with the shower being exceptionally small. With no AC we had to open the window. Unfortunately, the noise both from the hotel restaurant and the restaurant next door made so much noise we had to close it and the room became stifling. However, the hotel is situated above a shop on a busy street, which can be very noisy at night. There is no air conditioning, so during a heatwave, the room became almost unbearable. Unfortunately, keeping the windows open for ventilation only made the noise worse.
