Nice apartment, nice host.

Had a great week here, it's a bit "up a hill", but it's a very nice village, and not far from a very decent supermarket, and there is a very local shop also. The host was very helpful and nice.

Perfect getaway

A wonderful stay! We were enchanted by the setting, the house, and the garden. Simona was a kind and thoughtful hostess who helped us out in several ways. Recommend this rental without hesitation!

Excellent location and accommodation

Happy to recommend Simona's property. An excellent location as a base to visit the surrounding area and beyond...and just to walk out of the door and enjoy walks in the immediate locality. A very comfortable apartment to return to and spend time in... it's a great location in Aquilea. Supermarket close by... and a ' negozio alimentari' and bar in Aquilea ( unfortunately the owners went on holiday the day I arrived, so cannot comment further ). Simona is very helpful re local information and potential sightseeing.

The property was clean and spacious. Simone was very accomodating and helpful allowing for a late check-in and check out. She was also kind enough to order our Friday night pizza for us, which was delicious.

Super, Super Holidays!

It's a very nice and lovely decorated Appartment in a beautiful precints on a hill around the old and wonderful town Lucca. In the near are some intressting points like Pisa, Viareggio, Tirennia (our favourit beach) , Livorno, and much more ...and it's also near to the "Cinque Terre"! This is a MUST! The own garden ist beautiful to relax there without driving. A bar and a little shop is given only some meters away. Also the Lucca -Sommer-Festival and other cultural highlights have embellished our stay here. It's really a recommondation for coming here and i think, we will also come back again. Thank's also and all the best for Simona! Greetings from Fulda/Germany!! ;-)

Fijn huis in leuk gehucht

We hadden heerlijke dagen in dit fijne huis waar het ondanks de hitte overdag ‘s nachts heel goed te doen was. Uitstapjes gemaakt: gezwommen in zee en in de rivier en natuurlijk Lucca en andere plaatsen bezocht. Simona is een fijne gastvrouw met wie de communicatie prima verliep!

Vermieterin Ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft sauber und geräumig sehr ruhige Lage und einen schönen Ausblick ins Land da Aquilea auf einem Berg liegt. Die Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen wir haben es genossen in ihr unseren Urlaub zu verbringen.

Top verblijf gehad. Geweldige gastvrouw (flesje wijn stond klaar, dag later kwam ze iets voor bij de koffie brengen, bij vertrek kregen we een flesje olijfolie uit eigen tuin). Enige kleine nadeel: weg naar huis is prima, alleen het laatste stukje is zo smal dat je geen tegenligger moet hebben; dan moet iemand een stuk achteruit rijden om de ander door te kunnen laten

Nice place in a beautiful area

We had a wonderful time at Simona's house. The little village is remote and idyllic, and the landscape is breathtaking. Simona was an attentive host, giving us useful advice for getting along. We had a very good time together.

Entspannter Urlaub in der Toskana

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus hat eine herrliche Lage und einen tollen Garten. Das Haus ist sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestattet! Es fehlt an nichts. Wir würden immer gerne wieder kommen. Zur Anfahrt: man muss mit einem größeren Wagen einen kleinen Umweg fahren, da der direkte Weg sehr schmal ist. Der Weg ist grundsätzlich eng, aber für italienische Verhältnisse normal. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt ein kleiner Traum.......

Un lieu unique

Simona est une hôte d'exception pleine d'attentions et de bons conseils et très disponible si besoin. La maison est très agréable et la vue splendide. La maison est idéalement située pour visiter la toscane et la ville de Lucca est magnifique. Un grand merci !

Séjour superbe. Le top. Très bon souvenir.

Très bien accueilli. Logement bien équipé et indépendant dans un petit village typique de montagne, cadre nature superbe. Point de vue. Bien situé pour visiter les alentours ( Pisé, Florence, Lucca….) bien apprécié l espace jardin pour prendre le repas.

Monmartre bij Lucca

De foto's doen het huis tekort. Het is zeer smaakvol gerenoveerd en met veel oog voor detail en liefde ingericht. Een hele fijne plek om te verblijven. De ligging op de bergtop helpt: 's nachts een heerlijk verkoelende wind. We zijn zeer gastvrij ontvangen. Simona is erg aardige, open en behulpzame vrouw. De mensen in het dorpje zijn vriendelijk. Onze hond heeft genoten van zijn uitkijkplek op het terrasje voor het huis. Via de smalle kronkelweg ben je zó in Lucca en andere plaatsen. Warm aanbevolen!

Excellent séjour en Toscane.

L’appartement que Simona loue est vraiment très bien. Nous l’a trouvé très propre et bien équipé. La vue y est admirable et l’avantage est qu’il est situé dans un coin paisible et non loin de Lucca, cité moyenâgeuse pittoresque. Vacances superbes 👍👍😃😃

Lucca und Umgebung..., ruhig und sehenswürdig

Wir waren 1 Woche auf den Spuren der italienischen Gartenkunst und darüber haben wir von Simona (der Gastgeberin) unaufgefordert besonders viele und informative Broschüren bekommen. Die Gastgeberin Simona ist besonders nett (und hilfsbereit), was sie auch in den vielen kleinen Details des Hausinterieurs wiederspiegelt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in ihrem Haus sehr genossen, uns sehr gut erholt und wir kommen gerne wieder. Also, besonders empfehlenswert!

Fine settimana ad Aquilea

La casa è storica ottimamente ristrutturata. Si trova a 15 minuti dal centro di Lucca in un borgo tranquillissimo ed immerso nel verde. La host Simona molto disponibile e premurosa. La casa molto confortevole… ci siamo sentiti a proprio agio.

This house in the Aquilea village is a gem!

First of all, Simona is a super professional and a great person. The village is very cute and everybody that you cross on the street is very friendly. Very soon you feel as part of the community. Don't miss the Friday pizza, 50 meters from the house. You need to go there and order a few hours in advance. The stone house has been restored with a lot of taste and comfort. I loved to sleep looking at the wood beam ceiling! The white stone kitchen sink is a special touch. The house has all the basics you need. The private garden is very charming and has a original stone and brick chicken coop, now turned into a shed. The table and chairs are super comfortable to read or to have the meals. In the back there is a BBC. Aquilea is a few kilometers from a excelent supermarket, a laundry, and from Luca, a beautiful historic town. My recommendation is to drive slow and blow the horn on the curves on the way to the village, about 2 km. Otherwise, no big deal. I love Simona's house and we wish we would've stayed there more days.
